Senior Software QA Tester, Senior Consultant
As a Senior Software QA Tester, you will be responsible for quality assurance, ensuring each software product adheres to the highest standards and meets specified requirements. Your contributions will be crucial in enhancing our testing methodologies and maintaining standard operating procedures. Collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, you will design and execute test cases and scenarios that cover functional, non-functional, and negative aspects of the System.
By planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities to ensure the product / feature meets all specifications and requirements, this role directly contributes to the ability to harness data effectively, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and ultimately, competitive advantage in the market. You will be adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies which will help drive innovation, adapt to new opportunities, and continuously evolve in an ever-changing business/technological landscape.
Work you’ll do
- Lead core execution teams, providing clear direction and effective delegation.
- Mentor and support junior team members, facilitating their development and addressing any concerns.
- Serve as a vital link between the execution layer and the management layer, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Estimate and analyze Sprint User Stories.
- Write and review test scripts, upload in qTest and execute them.
- Work on Jira project management tool to track all the communication with Stakeholders/ PO / Client and as defect management tool.
- Generate dashboard for validation testing, perform validation smoke testing, support validation team in testing.
- Support Business Analysts within the team to complete FSD documents.
- Provide strategy on Data Migration testing and write and review test scripts followed by execution.
- Generate DM testing reports, qTest reports, test form (based on client needs) and route for approval in Veeva.
- Actively participate in grooming and tech calls.
- Work on documents routed for FDA approval.
- Work closely with the other team members on core salesforce functionality.
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field required. Master's degree in a similar field would be a plus
- 5-7 years of experience as a Salesforce QA, with hands-on expertise in various Salesforce clouds, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Health Cloud.
- The applicant should hold at least Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Lead the QA efforts for Salesforce projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and adherence to best practices.
- Develop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Execute manual tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce solutions.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues through to resolution, working closely with development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing.
- Communicate test results, progress, and risks to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and incorporate them into the QA process.
Preferred
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, or ISTQB foundation.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
