Senior Software Developer, Senior Consultant
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and robust solutions on the Salesforce platform. Your role also involves the optimization of solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability, while also implementing robust audit, monitoring, backup, and archival solutions to support compliance. Collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, you will translate business needs into effective technical solutions, maintaining continuous dialogue with both business and IT teams to ensure robustness, accuracy, and consistency.
By designing and implementing sophisticated solutions, this role directly contributes to the ability to harness data effectively, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and competitive advantage in the market. You will be adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies which will help drive innovation, adapt to new opportunities, and continuously evolve in an ever-changing business/technological landscape.
Work you’ll do
- Lead core execution teams, providing clear direction and effective delegation
- Mentor and support junior team members, facilitating their development and addressing any concerns
- Serve as a vital link between the execution layer and the management layer, ensuring seamless communication and alignment
- Design and implement custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document technical specifications [Jira] and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the highest quality in development practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with the Salesforce Architect to drive best practices in development.
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field required. Master's degree in a similar field would be a plus
- 5-7 years of experience with Salesforce development and customization, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Workflows, Triggers, Validation rules and Salesforce APIs.
- Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce, software like Okta and with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools, including platforms like MuleSoft, Informatica, and other integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and best practices for application design.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development tools (Developer Console, IDEs etc.) and Salesforce clouds (Service Cloud, Sales cloud, health Cloud etc.)
- Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git) and development lifecycle management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration and communication.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira).
Preferred
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II certification.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices for Salesforce.
- Experience with third-party Salesforce packages and AppExchange solutions.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein, AI/ML capabilitrce Einstein, AI/ML capabilities, or other advanced features.
