Position Summary

Level: Consultant

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

Pipeline Development and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored for edge computing environments using tools such as Jenkins, Git and Travis CI etc.
Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts to streamline the deployment process.
Version Control and Code Management: Manage code repositories and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Testing and Quality Assurance: Implement automated testing frameworks with tools such as JUnit, pytest, Selenium, and Cypress for test automation to ensure code quality and reliability.
Code Quality Analysis: Integrate tools like SonarQube, Synk, or other widely used code quality analysis tools to detect issues such as bugs, vulnerabilities, and code smells.
Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of CI/CD processes.
Troubleshooting: Provide support for deployment issues and troubleshoot problems in the CI/CD pipeline.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of CI/CD processes, tools, and best practices.
Mentorship: Train and mentor junior team members on edge and cloud computing technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD, Edge Computing, monitoring, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), SonarQube, Synk, Docker, Kustomize
Cloud Platform: Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Harness, GITHub Actions, Argo CD, or Travis CI.
Helm and Kustomize: Proficiency in using Helm charts and Kustomize for templating and managing Kubernetes manifests.
Scripting and Automation: Strong skills in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy for automation tasks.
Security: Experience working with SonarQube, Snyk or similar tools.
Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
Containerization and Orchestration: Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Proficiency in orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
Infrastructure as Code: Extensive experience with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet or similar tools.
Project Management: Proven track record in leading large-scale cloud infrastructure projects.
Collaboration: Effective communicator with cross-functional teams.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries
Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
