Position Summary

Level: Consultant or equivalent

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines.

Work you’ll do:

Leverage proficiency in adjacent technologies beyond core skills to enhance project outcomes. Proactively identify and communicate issues or risks to team leaders, and complete assigned technology learning on schedule. Quickly adapt to project-specific tools and gain understanding of client business processes or industry fundamentals. Support process improvements, automation, and innovation while maintaining up-to-date project documentation. Contribute to tracking delivery metrics and lead knowledge-sharing sessions on processes and technology trends. Participate in team building, defect management, and compliance activities. Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and actively engage in ideation and development of tools, accelerators, and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in C# and ASP.NET Core skills, proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experienced in developing high-performing React applications integrated with Spring Boot microservices.

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts

• Should be able to provide correct definitions of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and able to differentiate between them.

• Able to come up with class structure in adherence with object-oriented concepts

• Able to identify mistakes / deviation from object-oriented principles in a given scenario or piece of code

• Good understanding of enterprise application architecture, multi-tier architecture, and microservices.

• Good knowledge of .net framework. Able to build simple projects and write working code without handholding.

• Should be able to predict correct output of code snippets

• Able to write impeccable code for the given scenario, should be able to consider performance and security aspects while writing code and justify the logic he/ she has written

• Given multiple ways to fix a problem, should be able to select the best one and justify the same

• Good understanding of Micro Services concepts

• Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise applications, REST based services, multi-tier architecture

• Explain best practices

• Able to ensure effective inter-service communication and data consistency

• Given a scenario, should be able to come up with high level design of micro services

• Good understanding of RDBMS and SQL concepts, should be able to understand, troubleshoot and write complex SQL queries

• Understanding of forms of Normalization. Able to do table design in accordance with standards.

• Good understanding of any of the Full ORM(entity framework) or mini ORM(dapper)

• Understanding of NoSQL concepts, familiarity with any of NOSQL databases. Able to explain prominent features of NOSQL databases.

• Should be able to write test cases in tools/ frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, MSTest etc.

• Strong theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in basic advanced aspects of React concepts - Hooks, Context API, Redux, Router, performance optimization.

• Good understanding of cloud computing and any of the cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.).

• Familiar with deployment in cloud and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Good grasp of asynchronous communication and its standard implementations

• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git. Able to explain version control process and best practices.

• Expertise in build-tools like MSBuils, NuGet etc.

• Expertise in CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Should be able to explain the build process and its stages.

• Able to suggest appropriate design pattern for a given scenario and write code in accordance with it.

• Good grasp of AI concepts and recent trends:

• Able to explain concepts related to Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision etc.

• Able to think about practical project ideas and suggest implementation strategies

• Should have worked with Agile methodology and aware of best practices:

• Awareness of core principles, and application in projects

• Able to compare between traditional models with Agile and justify Agile adaptation

• Explain important Agile Metrics - velocity, cycle time, burndown charts etc. and usage of the same for process improvement

• Able to explain Sprint ceremonies and estimation process followed in the current project

• Should be able to explain the business impact of the project he is currently working on

• Strong have good communication skills, experienced with direct client interactions

• For a given scenario, ability to come up with the right questions to be asked to the client to remove ambiguity

• Usage of right words

• Should be able to explain the key concepts, challenges and trends in the industry aligned to current project and have understanding of technology disruptors specific to the industry

• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks within the application with minimal hand-holding. Should be able to provide directionally correct answers to questions based on error scenarios.

• Experienced with integrating .Net applications with external APIs, data sources, and databases using web services (RESTful) and other protocols.

• Should be a good team player. Able to work closely with other developers, designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. \

• Certification:

• MTA – Microsoft Technology Associate

• Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204),

• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Hands-on experience with any of the cloud providers

• Hands-on experience in AI – Basic understanding of concepts related to Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision etc.

• Awareness / hands-on experience on the following tools/ frameworks

• Python, TensorFlow and PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLP Libraries

• Foundational, developer and architect level certification with any of the cloud providers:

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Microsoft Azure Fundamentals / GCP Foundational certification

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, GCP Associate certification

• Awareness of recent industry specific events and able to explain their impact on the work that he has been doing

Education:

• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university

Location:

• Bengaluru/Hyderabad

Shift Timings:

• 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
