The Team
Deloitte USI Transformation Office provides oversight, accountability, enablement, and clarity across our most complex transformation priorities to ensure success by connecting dependencies, reduce risk, ensuring alignment, and accelerating outcomes. The Transformation Office is a diverse and geographically dispersed team with eclectic skillsets and professional backgrounds. Work You’ll Do:
In the Transformation Office, you will assist in enabling and accelerating the Transformation Priorities of the firm. This will involve managing the firm’s transformation agenda, enabling the resilient transformation of the firm, and engaging with key stakeholders and leaders. You will help align the organization's transformation objectives with its broader strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Transformation Office colleagues and internal stakeholders to understand the broader transformation objectives and execute projects to help achieve them.
- Work across key transformation areas such as digital and technology transformation, operating model design, process transformation, business case formulation and transformation roadmap.
- Bring in new thinking, question existing ways, and push boundaries to solve business problems.
- Apply logic and structure to solve ambiguous problems.
- Break down problems into smaller solvable tasks and prioritize as per business needs.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as assessing the effectiveness of current processes and identifying opportunities for transformation.
- Use analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analyses to come up with appropriate recommendations.
- Collaborate and develop effective working relationships with a diverse set of senior internal as well as external stakeholders.
- Develop insight driven and action-oriented content (documents, presentations, spreadsheets) for executives, including feedback/suggestions from peers
- Facilitate effective coordination across teams in a collaborative environment using excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactively manage issues and challenges, comfortably navigating through ambiguity and fostering an environment of problem-solving
- Take on project lead roles and be responsible for people management, including mentoring junior resources.
Skills required:
- Outstanding core consulting skills – i.e., analytical, primary, and secondary research, presentation, and modelling (superior PowerPoint and Excel), including logical structuring and storytelling.
- Outstanding analytical (qualitative and quantitative), research, and presentation skills
- Ability to think creatively and apply logical structuring to complex problems.
- Ability to synthesize large sets of information, extract insights, and develop recommendations.
- Ability to think orthogonally to prevailing views and comfort with challenging orthodoxies.
- Prior experience in strategy development for top tier companies and/or with top strategy consultancy
- Excellent strategic thinking and knowledge of strategy development, competitive strategy, and scenario planning
- Self-accountable for ensuring that results are achieved; deliver work in a timely matter with minimal errors and guidance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills.
- Prior experience of different ideation and problem-solving techniques such as design thinking, lateral thinking, critical thinking, etc. is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure and act in utmost confidentiality with sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business / finance / technology from a Tier I / Premier Tier II institution or comparable international institutions
- Relevant Consulting / Strategy based work experience between 6 to 9 years
- Knowledge or certification in artificial intelligence, automation, semantic analytics, visualization technologies is a plus.
