Work you’ll do.

The professional will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows. With respect to Excel VBA Developing, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing Excel-based tools and applications using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs, developing customized solutions, and ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise in Excel VBA will be crucial in automating processes, generating reports, and improving data analysis capabilities. They will translate these requirements into functional specifications for the teams and work closely with project managers/Associate Directors on long-term projects. 

Your Responsibilities

1. VBA Development:

·       Design, develop, and maintain Excel macros and VBA scripts to automate manual processes.

·       Create user-friendly forms, dynamic dashboards, and complex data models within Excel.

·       Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure maintainability.

2. Requirement Elicitation and Analysis:

·       Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.

·       Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.

·       Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for project teams.

3. Solution Design:

·       Collaborate with various teams during busy seasons and closely work with them to deliver quality output within stipulated timeframes.

·       Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.

·       Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities.

4. Stakeholder Communication:

·       Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and various teams.

·       Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

·       Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences.

5. Documentation:

·       Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.

·       Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

6. Quality Assurance:

·       Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.

·       Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality.

7. Process Improvement:

·       Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.

·       Recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation.
