• Test new features of the application, while understanding the complex tax technical requirements of these features

• Document the results of the testing in a systemic manner.

• Identify ways to improve efficiency of existing business processes and data automation for multiple projects.

• Draft technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guides, newsletters, etc.

• Technical expertise and aptitude to raise awareness of new and emerging technologies.

• Support users of the application with ad-hoc questions/issues.

• Aid and train the team to effectively use applications and tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at business and technical level of the organization

• Ability to work in a complex deadline-oriented environment and multi-task on multiple projects concurrently with little supervision.

• This is a multi-faceted role where you will be working with multiple stakeholders. You will need to be flexible and be able to switch “hats” seamlessly.

• Full time Bachelor’s (B. Com.) in Commerce or Masters (MBA) equivalent from reputed University with minimum of 60% and above or equivalent CGPA

• Basic knowledge of Indirect Tax / Direct tax and basics of accounting

• Microsoft Office suite knowledge – Excel is a must.

• High aptitude to actively learn new and emerging technologies.

• Ability to work with large volumes of data.

• Application development/ Application Quality Assurance experience

• Experience working with Azure DevOps

• Basic experience with XML, JavaScript, Python

• Knowledge of the tax technology landscape, new technology trends such as GenAI and Machine Learning is an asset.

• Knowledge of new tax trends such as E-invoicing, Pillar II, SAF-T is an asset
