The Talent Business Advisor organization focuses on shaping the way Talent services are delivered to the Business by partnering with key business decision makers and establishing and maintaining a deep understanding of the business environment, strategy, and people implications. As part of the Enabling Areas (EA) Talent Strategy & Operations team, this person will join the EA Talent Business Advisor organization to support strategic priorities and programs that enhance the talent experience for all Enabling Areas professionals. The Enabling Areas are comprised of 12 channels and USI Global Support that provide internal operational and strategic services to Deloitte. These channels include Finance & Administration, Growth & Purpose, Talent, and Technology, among others.
The EA Talent Programs Specialist will work closely with the EA Talent Programs Leader and the EA Talent Strategy and Operations Leader to support the day-to-day activities and operations of various Enabling Areas talent programs and initiatives by effectively implementing and managing innovative, integrated, and practical solutions. This person will be engaged in the advancement of the EA talent vision and brand through program operations, communications, stakeholder management, and resource supply/demand management. The successful candidate will have excellent program and project management skills, be passionate about investing in and growing our people, and possess a strong understanding of the Enabling Areas, Deloitte operating models and processes, and the full talent lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities:
The EA Talent Programs Specialist will work under the direction of the EA Talent Programs Leader (Senior Manager) to:
• Develop and maintain project plans, scope and design requirements and roadmap for EA Talent programs and priorities, such as Pinnacle, the Deloitte Excellence Fellowship, and EA Engagement/Connectivity strategies
• Create communications, presentations, and other deliverables to be shared with internal stakeholders and EA professionals
• Manage content updates for the Enabling Areas DeloitteNet/Deloitte Resources sites
• Support EA Talent mobility goals and manage operations for EA rotational program including the creation and management of temporary EA assignments, rotational agreement forms, resource management trackers, and project requests
• Understand talent priorities across the Enabling Areas, gather and assess data to identify gaps/opportunities, and design and deliver solutions with a focus on strategy, process, people, and stakeholder management impacts and outcomes
• Perform other job-related duties, as assigned
This role is evolving, and opportunities to take on more challenging tasks and expand responsibilities will be available. A high degree of attention to detail, flexibility, ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities, as well as confidence working with senior leaders is required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related area
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with excellent program/project management skills
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically and manage through ambiguity
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage change and adjust messaging based on varying stakeholder groups
• Strong executive presence and experience working with senior leaders
• Consultative approach toward clients and ability to influence others
• Strong competency in core professional skills – attention to detail, coordination, and success in balancing competing priorities and projects
• Proficiency with MS Office tools: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
• High level of discretion required in handling access to sensitive and confidential talent information
