Jr Designer (BTA level) – Global Employer Services Technology Center

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“Deloitte Tax in India”) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support services through Deloitte Tax in India.

We provide support through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. We offer a broad range of fully integrated tax services by combining technology and tax technical resources to uncover insights and smarter solutions for navigating an increasingly complex global environment.

Job purpose:

This position will work within our user experience horizontal on our Product Design team. As part of this team, you will collaborate with the product teams and designers to help design new products and improve existing ones and provide world class digital experience to our clients and customers. You will also assist in our efforts to implement the product design process by incorporating latest industry standards and UX design principles.


Key job responsibilities include the following:

    • Use your expertise to translate business and technical requirements into design interaction flows and wireframes for web and mobile application experiences
    • Projects range from customer-facing websites and mobile apps to internal, employee-facing tools
    • Create low-fidelity wire-frames and concepts to validate design requirements, and get feedback from the stakeholder teams
    • Develop mock-ups and clickable prototypes to translate functional requirements into high-fidelity UI/UX designs
    • Collaborate with teammates and internal stakeholders to help guide teams to utilize our design system and guidelines for developing new services and functionality
    • Successfully work with developers, project managers, and other internal teams to optimize processes for user-centered design thinking
    • Work on several projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
    • Ability to innovate and visualize simple, intuitive experiences based on complex requirements.
    • Provide regular progress updates and status to the management
    • Ability to communicate detailed design specs to internal teams
    • Ability to create and maintain high-quality design documentation

    • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Strong work ethics & commitment to client service excellence

Education/Background:

College coursework: B.Des / B.E / B.Tech

Key skills required

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Design and/or any industry recognized UI/UX professional certification
    • 1-2 years of experience as a UX/UI designer
    • A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered product design solutions
    • Demonstrated experience of working on Design Systems in the past
    • An innate capacity for creating engaging, highly usable designs and layouts
    • Ability to quickly turn around mockups in a very agile, fast-paced environment and comfortable working on designs without all the product details
    • Experience working with Figma or any other equivalent UX design tools
    • Preferrable but not required: experience working with ZeroHeight
