BTA – Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) - API/ Integration

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“Deloitte Tax in India”) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support services through Deloitte Tax in India.

We provide support through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. We offer a broad range of fully integrated tax services by combining technology and tax technical resources to uncover insights and smarter solutions for navigating an increasingly complex global environment.

Job purpose :

You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-quality, and high-performance integrations using Microsoft and AWS native technology. You will work with a team of analysts, developers, and tax consultants to build high performing user-friendly systems & applications.  The incumbent needs to have a high level of attention to detail, ability to execute and deliver high quality project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment. Incumbent should be able to function effectively in a team environment. 

Key job responsibilities :

  • Development experience Designing, programming & debugging applications in C# .NET (or another robust programming language)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or Sql Server
  • Ability to understand and develop API end points utilizing tools such as Visual Studio or MuleSoft
  • Ability to implement AWS native services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Function effectively in a team environment
  • Consistently meet project expectations and project deadlines
  • Adhere to the project and coding standards as necessary. Contribute to the development of such standards where required; also recommend/implement process improvements.
  • Refer more complex issues or reconfigurations to senior specialists, escalate relevant matters to concerned on timely basis

Education/Background:

College coursework:  B. Tech/B.Sc. (Computer Science).

Location: Only Hyderabad

Must have:

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in IT industry and well-versed on SDLC with working knowledge in analysis, design, and development of .NET applications and/or systems
  • Strong technical skills on Programming, i.e., C#, ADO.NET
  • Able to read and create JSON, XML’s & XSD’s
  • Strong knowledge of web service & Rest APIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of organizations

Good to have:

  • Desirable but not vital - Knowledge of Global Mobility
  • API
  • Mulesoft
