The Team

At Deloitte Tax LLP, our Global Employer Services Technology Group consultants help multinational clients develop programs, processes, and digital offerings to manage a global workforce and the compliance obligations arising from global mobility, business travel and remote working. People within our technology group come from a diverse background – they partner with our go-to-market teams and global clients to solve challenging problems and design experiences and products that anticipate what our Deloitte clients will want and solutions that keep them compliant with global and local regulations.

Work you’ll do.

As a Data Custodian for GES Data Management (GDM) in the GES Technology Group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with product owners, Transformation program leaders, and other stakeholders, assisting them with data governance, reporting, documentation, quality assurance and security. These efforts will support ongoing business needs, as well as a multitude of Digital transformation programs impacting a global audience.

Key job responsibilities:

·       Within the Data Governance structure, data custodians provide the technical design, development services that enable the business processes supported by the data.

·       Data Storage and Management: Safely storing and organizing data in compliance with regulations and organizational policies.

·       Data Governance: implements and monitors technical data governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain data integrity and consistency.

·       Data Quality Assurance: Implements and monitors accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data through regular checks and validations.

·       Access Control: Manages user access to data, ensuring that only authorized personnel can view or modify it

·       Data Security: Upholds measures to protect data from unauthorized access, breaches, or loss.

·       Data Privacy Compliance: Maintains safe custody, transport, storage of the data and implementation of rules based on defined data privacy policies, such as GDPR or HIPAA, to protect sensitive information.

·       Incident Response: Responds to data breaches or security incidents promptly and effectively.

·       Documentation and Reporting: Maintains documentation of data assets, access controls, and security measures, and providing reports on data usage, security incidents, and compliance status

Education/Background:

College coursework:  BE/BTech

Experience: 5-7 Years

Key skills desired:

·       Experience working on complex SQL queries that retrieve data from multiple sources.

·       Must have knowledge in Data Governance and Ethics, and Data Quality Management.

·       Good to have knowledge in Informatica tools such as MDM, e360, IDQ and AXON/EDC/CDGC.

·       Analyze and interpret global mobility datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

·       Experience defining, implementing, and operationalizing new features and product-level metrics from scratch.

·       Quick learner who is curious and inquisitive about the GA suite data model and rapidly enhances knowledge about the domain.

·       Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment where projects, and deadlines often require multi-tasking and flexible work schedules.

·       Extremely meticulous with the ability to execute & deliver project deliverables on time.

·       Self-starter with solid analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Power Point

·       Ability to interact and integrate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
