Deputy Manager - Strategic Marketing

We are looking for a passionate marketing and communications professional with a strong understanding of professional services marketing. A team player and a strategic thinker who can build relationships with US-based Strategic Marketers (SMs), build marketing campaigns and create communication plans to enhance the firm’s brand value, drive lead and pipeline generation, and build eminence for our services.

An individual who thinks innovatively and strategically and keeps current on the latest trends. Someone who leads by example in terms of quality of deliverables and relationships across the board and drives high performance from junior marketers. An effective team player who can creatively build campaigns to address business objectives and is passionate about driving meaningful results.

Skills and competencies

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of marketing’s role in a professional services firm - marketing communications, channel strategy, demand generation, campaign management, operations, and impact measurement.

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of the marketing funnel and activations across the funnel.

· Be a big-picture thinker with an ability to manage multiple and complex business priorities

· Ability to make connections in a highly matrixed environment, with a strong focus on finding synergies and driving integration

· Partner with US-based Strategic Marketers and the business to translate business and industry goals into marketing goals.

· Provide strategic recommendations on the types of content (e.g., articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics) that can effectively narrate and establish Deloitte as a thought leader in the respective issue or domain.

· Develop comprehensive content plans that outline the creation, distribution, and promotion of content to maximize reach and impact.

· Engage our in-house agency for successful campaign execution, collaborate on strategy and best practices, and oversee on-time and on-budget campaign delivery.

· Develop and report metrics and KPIs to assess campaign success at the campaign, activity, and channel levels to inform future campaign tactics.

· Optimize campaigns by understanding target outcomes to drive ongoing performance, monitoring, analyzing, and adjusting as needed to improve impact.

· Expertise in MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint and ability to integrate various technologies to support marketing efforts

Qualifications and experience required:

· 7-9 years of experience in marketing, with a strong understanding of integrated marketing and communication strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results.

· Strong knowledge of B2B marketing, marketing funnel, digital marketing, lead generation, channel strategy, social media promotion, and measuring ROI.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to gain consensus

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Project Management software); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts.

· Strong project management and organizational skills.

· Knowledge of how to leverage events, sponsorships, social, digital, communications, and PR within omni-channel campaign development.

· Comfortable with some level of ambiguity to get the job done, problem solve, and make decisions as if you own the business.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think both strategically and execute tactically.

· Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team; experience in a large corporate setting and/or professional services is a plus.

· Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce.com or analytical tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is a plus.

· Master’s degree ideally with a focus in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field
