GCP DevOps Lead – AMG - PRODUCT ENGINEERING
Candidate with minimum 6-9 years of experience to lead a team of DevOps engineers and responsible for delivering hosting solutions on GCP/Cloud. Must be innovative.
Work you’ll do
We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate professional for a DevOps Lead position with established experience with GCP cloud services and DevOps practices such as build/release management and general automation. This role will manage overall deliverables of project hosting, engaging DevOps professionals. This role will implement and support cloud solutions on GCP and processes leveraged by large number of applications hosted in our environment. Your skills are broad - implementing cloud and on-premises solutions for various application architectures, scripting, database, and other data services – and you easily transition between those and handle multiple projects and priorities.
Technical Skills:
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP Cloud services including (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Load Balancers, CDN, VM Instances, VPC, IAM, Storage Services)
· 3+ years of build and deployment automation (Continuous Integration/Delivery) experience using industry-standard platforms (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Cloud Native Services)
· 2+ years of hands-on experience with infrastructure as code automation (Terraform)
· 1+ years of experience with modern scripting languages, Python, PowerShell are preferred
· Awareness of high availability (HA) design and implementation across GCP services
· Understanding of general database technologies and maintenance (Cloud SQL, Firestore, BigQuery, AlloyDB)
· Awareness with GCP networking and routing technologies (VPC, Firewall, PSA, PSC, Cloud DNS, Load Balancing and Availability zones)
· General understanding of GCP security practices (KMS, Secrets Manager, Encryption, IAM Roles, Service Accounts, IAP)
· Enterprise-level job experience, focusing on high volume, scalability and reusability when architecting automated solutions
· General knowledge of traditional network, firewalls, and load balancers
· Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to extract, translate and communicate meaningful information with management and peers
· Strong technical documentation skills; workflows and support documentation
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field or a minimum of 5+ years of relevant, enterprise IT experience
· Certifications: GCP associate-level certification
Nice to have
· GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification
Responsibilities:
· Work with software/cloud architects and developers to implement cloud solutions.
· Responsible for deploying cloud services, leveraging an infrastructure as code (IaC)
· Configure build and release (CI/CD) pipelines.
· Implement infra and application monitoring and support activities.
· Respond to service requests in your team’s queue.
· Implement DevOps/Hosting best-practices, processes & participate in on call rotations.

Qualifications
Required:
· Minimum of 6+ years of relevant, enterprise IT experience.
· Educational Qualification: B.Tech in CSE/IT, MCA
· Skill set: Windows/Linux Server Administration, Cloud Computing awareness, GCP PaaS and IaaS configuration, Python/PowerShell scripting, Azure DevOps configuration.
