Securitization – Associate Solution Advisor/Solution Advisor

The Securitization Offering is a part of the Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory (RFA). Our Securitization professionals are engaged on performing agreed-upon procedures on new issuance securitization transactions backed by pool of Corporate Loans, Mortgaged-Backed Assets (MBS), Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) and Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) structured products. Our services include payment date verification, due diligence of U.S. Corporate Loans, effective date modeling, payment date modeling, asset level file review, capital structure cash flow modeling, recomputing advanced asset and bond analytics and review of relevant offering documents. We have experience with a diverse list of asset classes including: single-family residential, multifamily, commercial, auto, equipment, REO-to-rental, peer-to-peer, timeshare, student loans, credit cards and various esoteric assets, such as cell towers, containers, railcars, solar, tax liens, tobacco settlements, whole business and others. Our clients include primary broker dealers, investment banks and mortgage loan originators/issuers in the fixed income industry.

We are looking for Associate Solution Advisors and Solution Advisors to join our Securitization Offering in our Hyderabad office. A candidate for this role would be responsible for directly interfacing with clients, attorneys and other professionals within the organization and the industry.

Work you will do

·       Work closely with US engagement teams with services in support of security payment activity, including asset and portfolio criteria compliance, Cash flow distributions.

·       Due diligence review of Corporate Loans, CLO, CMBS, RMBS & ABS transactions.

·       Perform a thorough review of the various offering documents related to a transaction.

·       Analyze results and provide explanations for discrepancies to ensure compliance with each transaction’s offering documents.

·       Recalculate expected asset cash flows for various product types and debt waterfall using certain software applications (including our proprietary VBA-based cash flow modeling tool) or Excel.

·       Recompute various statistical attributes, stratification tables and statistical pool percentages using the asset-level portfolio data expected to be included in a transaction.

·       Help develop and maintain securitization collateral models, analyze results and provide explanations for discrepancies to ensure compliance with each transaction’s offering documents.

·       Recompute various collateral stratification tables and analytics through excel or Collateral Analysis System (“CAS”).

·       Develops deep understanding as a subject matter expert of specific Asset types and current market trends.

·       Contribute towards building strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

·       MBA Finance background and/or 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in US Financial Services Industry (Banking and Capital markets).

  • Good understanding of Financial Instruments and experience on Financial Reporting, Interpretation of Financial documents, Valuation and Cash flow modeling will be an advantage.

·       Proficient with any of the Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access), VBA, PYTHON, C# and industry system platforms such as Bloomberg, INTEX, Solvas and Capital IQ.

  • Should be proactive and have strong organizational, communication skills, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to “think out of box” and exercise professional skepticism to detect any potential issues throughout the transaction review.
  • Prior Big 4 Accounting Firm or relevant working experience in the following industries is an advantage:
