Risk & Brand Protection (R&BP)

R&BP team play a critical role in enhancing, preserving and protecting the reputation of the Deloitte organization. Functions within R&BP include Independence Operations, Independence Audits, Conflicts, Independence Representations, Discipline and Continuing Education. They assist in ensuring compliance with firm policies and professional standards in the areas of auditor independence, compliance and risk.

Business Relationship (BR)

In today’s evolving global business environment, managing risks associated with external parties, requires careful due diligence. The BR team evaluates, and monitors risks related to doing business with third party vendors that provide services to or on behalf of Deloitte. 

Work you’ll do

·       Review new and existing business relationships associated with the firm.

·       Maintain quality and timelines in a day-to-day operation

·       Work on adhoc requests and projects as needed

·       Identify and monitor mergers and/or acquisitions involving individuals or entities Deloitte has a business relationship with currently for further action.

·       Develop best practices, consistently apply a base of knowledge to matters that arise

·       Identify and resolve exceptions to policies and professional standards in a timely manner

·       Coordinate frequently with other members across the member firm’s Risk & Brand Protection group to effectively serve Deloitte professionals

Required Skillset:

·       Knowledge of common financial instruments such as investments, loans, insurance products and different types of company structure.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with individuals ranging from staff to partners.

·       Effective time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·       Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

·       Good analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail

·       Strong ability to follow procedures consistently, knowing when to seek guidance

·       Solid research skills and familiarity with various research tools (e.g., D&B Hoovers)

·       Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion

·       Ability, and desire / interest, to participate in special projects as needed

·       Proficient with technology tools such as Microsoft Office (database tools and analytics a plus)

·       Ability to work extra hours / overtime during peak periods

·       Understanding of Independence requirements for a professional auditing firm

Work Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM- 8 PM

Qualifications Required

•MBA Finance or related field

•Up to three to five years of total/relevant experience

•Proficiency with MS office and familiarity with financial instruments research
