USI Risk & Compliance - Career Level 4: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager
US India Risk and Compliance team supports USI businesses identify and manage operational risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including external communications, operations, talent, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. This team provides leadership, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk and assists USI management in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple businesses and takes appropriate action.
Work you’ll do
As a Risk and Compliance professional you will work with several stakeholders to support USI operations and other strategic priorities. This would require you to work in close collaboration with professionals from across the Enabling Areas and Businesses. Due to Deloitte’s data driven processes and approach, ideal candidate for this role must be a detail oriented, analytical thinker, capable of producing high quality deliverables leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data.
Job Responsibilities:
· Independently handle risk review of external communications.
· Develop subject matter specialization to conduct risk-related consultations.
· Seek guidance from the Manager, where needed and escalate potential issues and concerns.
· Support the RC3 PMO to identify issues and engage with stakeholders to prepare mitigation plans.
· Troubleshoots process issues and provides solutions.
· Execute logistics as needed for meetings and events under the direction of the Manager.
· Prepare meeting materials and reports for stakeholder meetings.
· Generate reports and review metrics ensuring high accuracy and quality.
· Monitor, follow-up and manage team mailbox, tools and risk review portal managed by the Risk and compliance team.
· Own and maintain risk and compliance reviews and consultations metrics with accuracy for timely reporting.
· Follow up on action items as required under the direction of the Manager.
· Manage inquiries for risk processes; escalate to Manager as needed.
· Discuss areas of improvement with Manager and seek professional development opportunities.
· Support Employee welfare trust operations
· Work with business team, technical team and leadership in automating the process.
Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor’s degree: Any
· Masters’ degree: Business Management or similar.
· Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in project management, process excellence, business research and advisory roles.
Required Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in using Microsoft office products. Familiarity with other Microsoft applications will be a plus.
· Flair for new technology and tools.
· Data interpretation skills to identify trends and insights.
· Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks with limited guidance.
· Exhibit flexibility and learning agility.
· Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills

Office of the Regional Managing Principal (ORMP) serves as the central point of the US firm’s organization in India. Team members in ORMP are highly-skilled and experienced professionals with varied experiences and background, who lead primary work portfolios and support Regional leadership for US firm’s organization in India to drive strategic priorities across the enterprise. US India Risk and Compliance team is part of ORMP.
