Analyst – Confidentiality and Privacy / Risk Management

This position will support the operational processes of the Deloitte U.S. Firms’ Confidentiality and Privacy group. The U.S. Confidentiality & Privacy (C&P) team is part of the Risk and Brand Protection organization within Deloitte LLP. This role will primarily support data subject request operations, as well as participate in key strategic priorities of C&P.  The successful candidate will be expected to quickly build subject matter expertise in the US Firms’ confidentiality and privacy policies while providing impactful contributions to the data subject request process.  

Location – Hyderabad, India

Normal Business hours – 2 PM to 11 PM (IST)

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Postgraduate/MBA /LLB or other undergraduate degrees (including BE/B.Tech) with exposure to Risk Management, Cyber and Information Security

Work you’ll do

·       Process data subject requests, including coordinating response verification across various teams, processing identity verification and maintaining deadlines.

·       Continually assess the data subject request process and identify enhancements.

·       Maintain accurate records and evidence of related activities.

·       Develop in-depth understanding of the US Firms’ businesses and enabling areas to identify new data repositories that fall in-scope for data subject requests.

·       Participate in projects to implement or enhance the US Firms’ confidentiality and privacy programs. Activities may include development of training and awareness materials, preparation of leadership presentation materials, or support for other high impact C&P initiatives.

·       Support the improvement and evolution of the applications and systems utilized to process data subject requests.

·       Support data analytics efforts to identify insights, potential risks, and mitigation strategies. 

·       Support projects/strategies to enhance the US Firms’ privacy and confidentiality preparedness based on emerging trends and risks.

  • Highly detail-oriented and diligent, consistently ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
  • Quick and eager learner.

·       Critical thinker with strong analytical skills.

·       Highly responsive and operates with a sense of urgency when required.

·       Demonstrated track record in sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and persistence in following issues to conclusion.

·       Excellent communications (oral and written), problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

·       Strong client service orientation and confidence in communicating with cross functional teams.

·       Remains calm under pressure while retaining ability to prioritize in high pressure situations.

·       Highly collaborative work ethic with commitment to team success.

·       Ability to work with professionals in different time zones.

·       Experience with Collaboration Tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, One Drive).

·       Experience in professional services, privacy, confidentiality, independence, risk management, client service, or consulting services preferred.
