Beacon is an engagement forecasting management tool used for validating life to date metrics such as hours, expenses, B&C, assets etc. Forecasting of metrics, analyzing and performing scenario comparison to arrive at the best financial metrics which can be used for submission and approval of financial metrics.

Product Owner

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Product Owner to join our team. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality features that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Vision and Strategy:

  - Define and communicate the product vision, goals, and roadmap.

  - Work closely with stakeholders to gather input, validate ideas, and prioritize features.

  - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.

2. Backlog Management:

  - Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized based on value, dependencies, and strategic objectives.

  - Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed requirements for development teams.

  - Continuously refine and groom the backlog to ensure it reflects the latest priorities and changes.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define and deliver product features.

  - Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into the product planning and development process.

  - Act as the primary point of contact for questions, clarifications, and decisions related to the product.

4. Release Planning and Management:

  - Plan and coordinate product releases, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

  - Define release goals, milestones, and success criteria.

  - Monitor and track release progress, identifying risks and mitigating issues as needed.

5. User Experience and Design:

  - Advocate for user-centric design principles and ensure that product features deliver an exceptional user experience.

  - Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.

  - Conduct user testing and gather feedback to validate design decisions.

Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in product management or a similar role.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Good to have experience working on financial domain.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with product management tools such as ADO, Jira, Trello, or Asana.

- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and methodologies.

- Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.

- Experience in a specific industry or domain relevant to the company’s products.

- Any project management certification
