Manager – ServiceNow Engineering Manager, Product & Engineering
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ServiceNow's Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Application Portfolio Management (APM), IRM (Integrated Risk Management) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to meet our organization's business needs and drive operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities include:
Technical Excellence:
- Technical Direction: Provide technical direction and oversight for software development projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Code Review: Review and approve code, and technical documentation and ensure team adheres to ServiceNow best practices.
Implementation and Configuration:
- Oversee the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Customize ServiceNow applications to meet specific business requirements.
- Manage and execute ServiceNow upgrades and patching.
- Implement and optimize SPM processes, including demand management, project and portfolio management, and resource management.
- Implement and manage APM processes to assess and optimize the application landscape.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide visibility into project and portfolio performance.
- Implement and manage HAM processes to track and manage hardware assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date asset records and compliance with asset management policies.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Leadership and Management:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and create development plans for team members.
- Team Environment: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends.
- Drive innovation and best practices in ServiceNow implementations
Education Qualification and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Overall 10+yrs of experience in technical development role with minimum of 5 years of experience working with ServiceNow, including hands-on experience with SPM, APM, and HAM modules.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
