Responsibilities:

Enterprise Data Management Framework, Data Security & Compliance

  • Data Ingestion, Storage, and Transformation
  • Data Auditing and Validation
  • Data Visualization with Power BI (optional)
  • Data Analytics Systems
  • Scaling and Handling Large Data Sets
    • Big Data with AI / LLMs: (optional)

Designing & Building Data Services

  • At least 2+ years’ experience in:
    • Azure SQL DB, SQL Warehouse, ADF, Azure Storage, ADO CI/CD, Data Pipeline Design and Orchestration for Big Data Platforms, Azure Synapse
    • Designing Power BI Report Architecture
  • Data Infrastructure Strategy
    • Cost Management, Multi-Geo, Multitenant, Load Balancing
    • Hands-on Experience in Distributed Compute for Big Data Processing

Data Model Design

  • Data Entities: Modeling and Depiction, Metadata Management

Database Development Patterns and Practices

  • SQL / NoSQL (Relational / Non-Relational – Native JSON), Flexible Schema, Indexing Practices, Master / Child Model Data Management, Columnar, Row
  • API / SDK for NoSQL DBs Operations & Management

Design and Implementation

  • Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Lake House Architecture
  • Apache Spark Management

Programming Languages

  • LLMs, PySpark / Python, C#
  • API: Invoke / Request and Response Modeling, API Security Model
    • PowerShell with Azure CLI (optional)
  • Git with ADO
    • Repo Management, Branching Strategies
    • Version Control Management
    • Rebasing, Filtering, Cloning, Merging

Debugging & Performance Tuning and Optimization Skills

  • Ability to Analyze PySpark Code, PL/SQL, .NET Framework with C#:
    • Enhancing Response Times
    • Memory Leaks, Garbage Collection Management
    • Memory Dump Retrieval
    • Debugging and Logging, Alerting Techniques

Soft skills:

  • Ability to work independent and analyze n design frameworks: explain to diverse team efficiently & mentoring teams.
  • Lead or speak-up in design sessions, demo product or prototypes or workshops sessions, COP / COE sessions.
  • Prior experience that demonstrates good business understanding is needed (experience in a professional services organization is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, organization, analytical, planning and leadership skills.
  • Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skill are a must.
  • Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment.
  • Ability to effectively conduct technical discussions directly with Project/Product management, and clients.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills.
