Job Summary:
The GPS Enabling Areas (GPS EA) Practice is a client-driven organization, partnering as trusted business advisors to
champion operational excellence, lead building functions to support various facets of project lifecycle and other key functions within Enabling Areas like Contracts, Pricing, General Ledger, Project Financials, Project Setup, Compliance and Business systems. As we continue to grow our team in response to unprecedented demand for our services across Deloitte, additional enhancements and new capabilities are needed. The GPS Enabling Areas practice is part of Deloitte Services LP, which ultimately provides services to Government and Public Services in the USA.
Work you’ll do
As a Senior Analyst with USI GPS EA, you would be expected to be a subject matter expert for multiple service offerings offered by the Procurement PMO team. You would be expected to lead calls with internal as well as external stakeholders. Below is a list of activities the person would be involved in and oversee but not limited to:
•Demonstrate clear understanding of the service offerings in portfolio, processes and trackers.
•Drive adoption of standard tools and processes to ensure high quality deliverables and lead a culture of process improvement.
•Support development and implementation of processes that align with the team’s objectives.
•Become a role model for junior practitioners. Inspire others to act and drive positive behaviors.
•Maintain consistent quality deliverables and update the trackers accordingly.
•Seek new and challenging initiative experiences to positively impact our Practice and our people.
•Seek and act on constructive feedback by your coaches and leads.
•Strong attention to detail, ensuring deliverables have zero/minimum errors and are consistent with the performance.
•Ability to work on multiple offerings with quick turnaround times, without compromising quality.
•Work closely with the Engagement team and the Buyer group in GPSC.
•Should possess strong interpersonal traits, including confidence to interact with personnel at all levels, responsiveness, flexibility and decision making.
Qualification & Skills Required:
•Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Finance, or another similar technical discipline
•Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience preferably in a global organization
•Should have a considerable amount of experience in Procurement, Vendor management and Vendor operations.
•Should improve operations through process improvements.
•Leverage advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office to create efficiencies and standardization in engagement and account reporting.
•Ability to coordinate and work effectively with teammates, end-users, and leadership
•Ability to work in a hybrid team environment
•Ability to complete work as per assigned timelines and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job
•Effective Communication - Clearly articulates views in written and verbal discussions. Holds excellent command over English language.
•Problem Solving / Analytical skills – Ability to collect and analyze data quickly and efficiently. Can identify issues and provide ideas/solutions for resolution.
•Identifies both opportunities and needs for change. Adapts quickly and responds effectively to change.
•Ability to deliver outstanding results – Completes tasks, activities, and projects in a timely and effective manner.
•Interpersonal Skills – Relate well to stakeholders(internal/external), colleagues & team members. Maintain a positive, supportive & appreciative attitude. Actively listen to others & demonstrate an understanding of their point of view.
