Deloitte Tax LLP’s Tax Transformation (TTO) team is responsible for the design, development and deployment of tax tools for the US Tax Practice. The professionals on the TTO team are focused on assisting Deloitte Tax in its efforts to deliver quality, comprehensive, value-added, and efficient client services using tax tools to our clients. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving tax technology management, tool development and implementation.

The key job responsibilities include the following:
ü We are looking for a Solution Architect to help our teams to build enterprise level web-based applications that excite our customers. You will shape and deliver on our asset strategy by performing the following tasks:
ü Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities, evaluate feasibility of requirements, determine priorities and come up with application architecture options and a technical roadmap.
ü Make high level design choices for the software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms.
ü Evaluate different suitable technology options and if applicable existing solutions. Provide leadership to make prudent choices.
ü Support and coach your team on best coding practices, development tools, and pathfinding and surveys for technologies.
ü Get hands-on and support your team in the implementation of complex business logic and algorithms.
ü Consistently strive to acquire new skills on Microsoft Technologies, especially .NET Core, Azure Cloud, DevOps, Big Data, AI and ML technologies.
ü Think towards creating container-based applications, (Kubernetes, Docker), strive for full automated solutions.
ü Test and deploy applications and systems
ü Ensure that all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations. Applications should meet requirements of scope, functionality, and time and adhere to all defined and agreed upon standards.
ü Must be familiar with the project management methodology and processes.
ü Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members.
ü Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
ü Work on agile projects, participate in daily SCRUM calls and provide task updates.
ü During design and key development phases, might need to work a staggered shift from 2pm-11pm to ensure appropriate overlap of the India and US teams and project deliveries.
Key skills required:
ü 10+ years of technology experience in an enterprises or web scale product company.
ü 6+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of .NET technologies and platforms.
ü 3+ years of hands-on experience on .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework 6 or above, Azure, Database performance tuning, Applying Design Patterns, Agile.
ü Deep Experience in building products/solutions/assets using .NET based platforms. Ability to build applications using .NET technologies is a must.
ü Deep Experience in designing and building distributed applications
ü Must have very good understanding and hands-on on data structures, Object Oriented Concepts
ü Hands on Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes)
ü Skill for writing reusable libraries
ü Nice to have knowledge on Angular, Mongo DB, NPM and VSTS Build/Release configuration.
ü Excellent communication and analytics skills. Comfortable in communicating with executives.
ü Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, ability to communicate clearly with US counterparts.
Preferred to have:
ü Ability to understand and abstract requirements and identify right technologies for building prototypes
ü Solid experience in SDLC practices and tools (DevOps)
ü Preferred to have experience with Azure Cloud Platform.
ü Preferred Certifications in one or more of the required skills.
