Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching the team on Agile principles and practices, and removing any obstacles that may be hindering the team's progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Hands on delivery support e.g. clearing blockers, running ceremonies, tracking progress, continual improvement, limiting WIP, prioritization, estimation, reporting, etc.
- Ensure the teams are making the most practical use of methodologies and are empowered to use their expertise to make appropriate decisions around the technologies they support and deliver.
- Identify and help implement services that will assist in the timely delivery of quality products.
- Provide guidance to the wider organization on the implications and support frameworks required for lean delivery.
- Structure the application lifecycle management tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops) to drive and monitor delivery activities.
- Mentor teams so that they become self-sustaining and self-managing.
- In conjunction with the larger organization provide a center of excellence for lean practices at the local and enterprise level.
- Communicate with openness, honesty and respect in all situations and be adept at conflict resolution and direction setting.
- Working closely with the product owners to ensure the backlog is sufficiently groomed for the next iteration.
- Help ensure functional and non-functional requirements are given appropriate attention and be able to articulate the value of these different types of effectively.
Certification
CSM/ SAFe Scrum Master / PMI-ACP /PSM/ A-CSM
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- 4+ years of working experience of one more industry standard Agile PM tools – Jira or Azure DevOps/Trello/Smartsheet confluence.
- Knowledge of one or more agile frameworks or methods (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good to have
· Experience working with Agile Transformation Project
- Understanding of waterfall methodologies
- Business analysis skill
- Able to perform an Agile maturity assessment
Location: Hyderabad
Work hours: 11AM to 8PM IST.
