Position Summary

Finance Manager, Engagement Support Services (ESS) – Hyderabad

Join our team of dedicated enabling area professionals in Deloitte US’ organization in India (USI) who support global teams. The USI based Engagement Support Services team provides Engagement Finance and Business Operations support to engagement teams across all service lines in the UK. The Manager will work with the USI Service Manager to provide local management support to the team, deliver agreed ESS services to the UK Firm and assume responsibility for the quality and service delivery produced by the USI ESS team.

Work you’ll do

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

·       Is a functional SME leading and strengthening the service delivery.

·       Management responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the teams. Regular reporting to stakeholders and Leadership on KPI performance, transformation initiatives and people related updates.

·       Ensure that all work deliverables are dealt with in line with the agreed terms and SLAs.

·       Working with the Service Control Team to control quality, develop and improve operational performance across the team and maintain related documentation.

·       Co-ordinating and undertaking performance management, talent development including mentoring and coaching. Having regular check-ins with assigned team leaders

·       Ensuring engagement levels

·       Ownership of operational decisions within the teams; also ensuring robust operational control practices are in place and reviewed regularly.

·       Focus on continuous improvement, transformation and development projects

·       Develop and implement action items based on various survey results related to people experiences to ensure  positive work culture and team engagement.

·       Providing advice and guidance on process and service improvements

·       Escalation management

·       Managing attrition and planning for any contingencies  

·       Ensure proactive and transparent communication at all times with the UK stakeholders regularly regarding business-as-usual activities, system issues, people issues, training plans, etc.

·       Lead USI recruitment involving the USI Assistant Managers and Deputy Managers, work with the recruitment team on logistics related to conducting interviews.

·       Understand business goals and strategies; take lead on driving outcomes in line with the goals and strategies.

The key skills required:

·       Experience in the Engagement Support/Finance or Accounts Receivable/Payable.

·       Strong team management, people management and performance management skills are essential.

·       11+yrs of relevant experience, with minimum of 5 years in people management.

·       Strong relationship building skills.

·       Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with professionals at various levels.

·       Experience of handling large number of direct reports from different work streams and coordinating with various teams to deliver exceptional results.

·       Manage conflicting priorities and support a culture of change and continuous improvement.

·       Proven success as a high-performing team leader with ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.

·       Strong mentoring and coaching skills.

·       Ability to anticipate and understand client issues and needs.

·       Experience of working in highly effective service delivery model.

·       Conflict resolution.

·       Strong matrix/data management with good analytical skills.

·       Stakeholder Management.


Qualifications

Required:

·       Any Graduate with 11+ years of experience in Engagement/Finance related roles.

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft own correspondence.

Work Location: Hyderabad

Work Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
