Analyst – IOC - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Operations Mandate – from an overall ITS perspective, leveraging USI resources is strategically aligning with the Firm’s Alternative Delivery Services model.  Along with other professional lines of businesses such as Tax, Advisory, Consulting and Enabling Areas like Marketplace and Business Operations, ITS is building its services and capabilities in USI to conduct operational tasks and responsibilities that allow Canadian onshore teams to focus more on ITS and business priorities.  In addition, ITS continues to grow and strengthen its Support Services presence in Hyderabad to provide quality client-facing support for our USI Canada Professionals.

Technology and Infrastructure team manages datacenters, servers, applications, databases, operating systems, security and patching systems, network, etc. including maintenance, routine operations, Infrastructure-related Event, and Incident Management.

Role Specific Responsibilities / Work you’ll do

*     Proactive Monitoring of SolarWinds, Dynatrace, SCOM and action as per standard operating procedures.

*     Apply independent judgment to troubleshoot, isolate and diagnose common network, OS, and server issues.

*     Work on Qualys Compliance tasks

*     Manage Windows Server Patching and security configuration compliance

*     Manage Linux Server Patching and security configuration compliance

*     Monitoring and resolving Cohesity and Veeam backup solutions

*     Coordinating with Vendor’s in resolving Physical Server and Network issues

*     Deployment Virtual Machine through vSphere Client and Hyper-V

*     Troubleshooting Database Server (MSSQL) alerts

*     Provide Status updates on assigned tasks

*     Engages with customers and other technical resources by phone and email to provide technical support and issue resolution

*     Monitoring and troubleshoot AudioVideo equipment alerts

*     Process daily task assigned by the shift leads.

*     Create RFC’s and represent in the CAB calls

*     Monitor network & server events and ticket queues

*     Troubleshoot and resolve and/or escalate network and server issues

*     Co-ordinate and be a part of the maintenance, upgrades, and server OS patching

*     Participate in weekly team meetings

The team

EDC Canada is the Canada CIO’s IT department which manages an end-to-end portfolio of Canada business applications and technology infrastructure that supports business processes common to Deloitte Canada member firm.

Our IT & Systems team works behind the scenes and is essential to the Deloitte organization. Our forward-thinking team members have the analytical skills needed to parse mountains of data and stellar communications skills needed to present research, discovery, and recommendations in a logical and easily understandable way. Our technologists provide IT infrastructure support to develop custom enterprise applications.

In addition, Technology and Infrastructure team manages datacenters, servers, applications, databases, operating systems, security and patching systems, network, etc including maintenance, routine operations, Infrastructure-related Event and Incident Management.

Qualifications:

Essential

  • A Computer Science University degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • A strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent Analytical Skill

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

·       1 – 2 years of relevant experience in network and server and monitoring experience

·       Be a Self-starter highly motivated.

·       CCNA certification (preferred)

·       Windows server certification (preferred)

·       Work directly with the second level support personnel and other support groups to resolve issues.

  • The person should be aware of the following concepts: Servers, Firewalls, Protocols, Topologies, DHCP, DNS and security patching.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Methodical and detailed approach towards accomplishing tasks.
  • Ability to work within a team with minimum supervision.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement

·       He / She should be willing to work in rotational shifts in 24*7 environments.
