Senior Analyst – ITS Cloud Security Engineer- Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

As a member of the Cyber Operations team, you will collaborate closely with our other IT teams including architects, compliance/risk, and business stakeholders to ensure that our cloud-based environments are configured to the best security practices in alignment to cloud security frameworks. Generate reports that facilitate risk management, decision-making and highlight the effectiveness of our security measures.

Work you’ll do

As a part this team, you will:

      Develop familiarity with cloud security frameworks and industry best practices (e.g. CIS)

      Review and implement security policies, procedures, and standards based on cloud security frameworks and industry best practices

      Keep up to date with emerging cloud technologies, platform services and industry trends

      Collaborate with our IT teams and stakeholders regarding the implementation of secure cloud architectures, configurations, and controls based on industry best practices

      Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and non-compliance with security policies

      Assist in the implementation and configuration of cloud-native security and vulnerability mgmt. tools and services to maintain and strengthen our cloud security posture

      Participate in incident response activities, including forensics investigations, remediation, and documentation

      Contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud security standards, procedures, and guidelines

      Assist in root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions for security incidents.

      Demonstrate the ability to independently deliver without significant senior support/escalation.

      Build rapport with senior stakeholders to continually broaden and strengthen relationships.

      Present with presence and confidence to leadership and senior stakeholders.

      Drive and contribute to a positive and constructive culture.

      Share knowledge and implement opportunities for improvement from lessons learned activities.

Work Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 06.30 AM to 03.30 PM

The Team:

            The Cloud security team takes care of the below.

      Assess and mitigate security risks in the cloud environment.

      Secure and manage the cloud infrastructure.

      Control user access to cloud resources.

      Protect sensitive data stored in the cloud.

      Monitor for and respond to security threats and incidents.

      Ensure compliance with security standards.

      Educate employees on cloud security best practices.

      Collaborate with cloud service providers to maintain security.

      Investigate and resolve security incidents.

      Continuously monitor and improve cloud security.

Qualifications

Required:

·       3+ years of relevant professional experience in cloud security.

·       Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and best practices

·       Hands on experience of cloud platforms e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), cloud security concepts and services

·       Understanding of cloud native services and lambda functions

·       Understanding of network security and protocols, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)

·       Proficiency in report generating reports to map coverage and risks

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant cloud certifications are a plus.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must

·       Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance

·       Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
