Position Summary

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Engineer to architect, manage, and optimize on-premise, bare-metal Kubernetes infrastructure for AI, HPC, and high-performance networking. The role involves developing Kubernetes-based solutions, troubleshooting, enhancing security, and collaborating with stakeholders to design distributed systems that meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
  • Develop, improve, and optimize Kubernetes-based solutions and infrastructure.
  • Architect systems for AI, HPC, and high-performance networking (e.g., InfiniBand).
  • Configure and secure Kubernetes clusters to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Design and document system architecture; perform software build-outs.
  • Troubleshoot Kubernetes issues and collaborate with engineers.
  • Work closely with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Contribute to upstream Kubernetes by fixing bugs and improving functionality.
  • Configure networking services and implement security measures.
  • Stay updated on trends in Kubernetes, AI, HPC, and distributed systems.

Qualifications

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven senior experience with Kubernetes (bare metal), Docker, and Linux OS.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes for AI, HPC, and high-performance networking and frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus), and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with designing distributed systems and securing Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and network protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, enabling effective collaboration across diverse team
