Work you’ll do

Global Tools Delivery Center: Data Analytics –Analyst is responsible for developing data visualization dashboards and advanced reports using any of the leading visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik and Alteryx. Analyst will require to have data analysis skills using excel. Incumbent will be responsible for coordinating, gathering and analyzing existing best practices and templates to develop cutting edge and data-driven insightful dashboards. Analyst will also be responsible for developing and supporting new design thinking process and related concepts in context of dashboard development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare dashboards using data visualization and data wrangling tools
  • Applies development framework, guidelines and standards to tools and ensure integrity and consistency
  • Builds and promotes a global culture under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlines
  • Actively contributes ideas to develop solutions, consult others as appropriate
  • Understands and assists in data analysis process, dashboard development and continuous improvement
  • Provides improvement recommendations for process guidelines and frameworks to enable consistency across projects

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Using Deloitte standards and templates
  • Executing internal testing and user acceptance process
  • Developing and maintaining internal project documentation
  • Applies development framework, guidelines and standards to tools
  • Provide process improvement ideas and enable consistency across projects

A shared services center is a simple concept but making it work is anything but easy. It involves consolidating and standardizing a wildly diverse collection of systems, processes, and functions. And if requires a high degree of cooperation among business units that generally are not accustomed to working together – with people who do not necessarily want to change.

USI shared services team provides a wide array of services to the U.S. and it is constantly evaluating and expanding its portfolio. The shared services team provides call center support, Document Services support, financial processing and analysis support, Record management support, Ethics and compliance support and admin assistant support.

Qualifications

Required:

·       Educational Qualification: MCA/B.E./BTech/BSC Comp

·       Technical Skill Set:

    • Overall, 1 to 3 years of experience in Data Analytics field
    • Experience working on Data Analytics and Visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
    • Knowledge of R/Python would be highly beneficial: Basic understanding of these statistical/analytical programming skills is necessary.
    • Familiar with visual design and best practices of UI/UX, reports and dashboards and scorecards

o   Sound understanding of excel basic and advanced functions

    • Understanding of agile software development practices and release of software products
    • Knowledge in statistics and machine learning would be highly beneficial: The candidate should have a strong developed mentality with a focus on measuring and metrics

o   Knowledge of Quality processes & Dashboard Testing processes

·       Business Skill Set:

    • Role works in a global culture which is under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlines
    • Familiar with consulting role
    • Must have Analytical/problem solving ability
    • Trouble-shooting skills, strong initiative, critical thinking skills, detail oriented
    • It is necessary to have strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Interpersonal Skill Set:

    • Be able to combine timely and tactful influence to accomplish difficult tasks
    • Have excellent communication skills with good oral and written communication capabilities
    • Have thorough understanding and possess creativity to implement through technology
