Job Title: Sr. Procurement Analyst - Government and Public Services Enabling Areas (GPS EA)
As part of the GPS EA, team members work collaboratively to ensure that the organization is operating effectively and efficiently, and that it is meeting its goals and objectives. This includes developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets and resources, ensuring compliance with government regulations and organizational policies, and supporting other departments in their work. In essence, the GPS EA plays a crucial role in enabling an organization to deliver high-quality services to its government and public sector clients.
Work you will do:
· Leading procurement activities for the Government and Public Services sector, including developing procurement strategies, conducting market research and managing supplier relationships. |
· Managing procurement processes, such as request for proposal (RFP) development, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and contract administration. |
· Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and to ensure procurement activities. align with organizational goals and objectives. |
· Implementing procurement best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and organizational standards. |
· Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, potential cost savings, and opportunities for process. improvements. |
· Collaborating with other departments, such as finance and legal, to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities. |
· Providing training and guidance to junior procurement staff and other employees on procurement processes and procedures. |
Participating in or leading special projects as needed, such as implementing new procurement systems or processes. |
Qualification & Skills:
· Demonstrated experience purchasing software or SaaS solutions, and other IT related products. |
· Experience with the Coupa Procure to Pay platform preferred, but not required. |
· Minimum 3-5 years of buying of software and hardware. |
· Demonstrated experience in negotiating, and leveraging value added reseller agreements. |
· Demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. |
· Strong consultative and communication skills. |
· Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. |
· Demonstrated ability work effectively work collaboratively with teams. |
· Knowledgeable of government regulations (FAR and DFAR) a plus. |
