Analyst – GPS Engagement Financial Advisors
The team
This team in Government & Public Services Enabling Areas, collaborate with members from various departments within our organization. You will learn about unique requirements related to reporting, billing, and financial management when providing professional services to the US government.
Work you’ll do
· Assist in forecasts, review baselines for the project and track financial metrics such as revenue, costs, and profitability, while ensuring adherence to Federal regulatory policies and compliance requirements
· Support engagement lifecycle including setup, revenue recognition, monitor funding, process vendor invoices, support procurement and engagement closeout
· Use standard tools and procedures to ensure the accurate, timely and high quality preparation of engagement financials. Interact with internal and external clients to provide engagement financial advice
· Monitor project performance and escalate issues by using key performance indicators
· Communicate with engagement teams, finance and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and within the scope of cost
· Support AR activities such as timely invoicing, monitoring billings/collections and collaborate with GPS AR Team on outstanding AR action items
· Team and collaborate with other EFAs across the practice, including our practitioners in USA.
· Contribute to the growth and development of the overall GPS EFA practice through active involvement in a practice initiative
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another similar technical discipline
· 1-3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and analysis preferably in a global organization
· Understand financial accounting (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows) and financial or operational metrics/KPIs (key performance indicators) used by professional services firms
· Demonstrated ability to be a team player who works effectively in a cross-functional environment
· Proficiency in MS Office (including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills) preferred
· Demonstrated analytical, project management, and organizational skills
In-depth analytical abilities, including issue identification and resolution tracking
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a dynamic work environment
· Ability to work with stakeholders across different time zones and provide financial advisory support
· Detail-oriented with ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects
· Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
· Good organizational and interpersonal skill
· Strong academic track record (preferred minimum 6 to 7 GPA)
Work Location: Hyderabad
Timings : 2 PM – 11PM
