The Global Consulting Services (GCS) team works globally across practices and borders to support Deloitte’s Consulting business. Within the Global Consulting Services, the Learning team supports the building of eLearning materials and works on learning platforms, create journeys and pathways, track course/curriculum usage and support general inventory, and assists with all business specific wider Talent PMO activities.
The Learning team is a vital component acting as a connective tissue in creating and sustaining a globally consistent approach in addressing current and future technical and business strategy aligned learning needs of our workforce and the GCS businesses globally. We achieve this through collaboration and partnerships with the Member Firm and Business Leaders for sustained quality, agility, and scale, elevating our talent experience proposition and supporting exponential business growth objectives.
Overview of the role
The professional will act as a strategic enabler and advisor to Global Consulting Services Leaders, driving executive decision making. They will enable global leaders to make strategic decisions that translates into marketplace impact and growth. All learning team members are responsible for collaboratively supporting the execution and operations of the Global Consultative Services’ strategic plan and priorities as agreed and designated by the Global GCS Learning Leader, Senior GCS Learning Portfolio Lead, and Learning Portfolio Leads. Staying closely aligned with each other, GCS broader team and channel partners, the learning team members will deliver and amplify learning and talent development initiatives with agility, quality, and scale.
Work you’ll do
The professional will work with the India colleagues and senior leaders across Global Consulting Services practice. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s Consulting Services business and strategic priorities to enable sharing of insights, trends and escalation of issues/variances as appropriate. They will drive the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize outcomes, demonstrate strong analytical and business writing skills, offer team guidance including project reviews, and develop impactful narratives with recommendations based on research and analysis. The team’s projects are typically high
impact and high-visibility, aligned to the global firm and Consulting Services leadership’s strategic priorities. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment.
The professional will own project initiatives with portfolio leads' support, keep leads updated on responsibilities, provide proactive project statuses, manage project needs (design, development, sustainment), and discuss additional resource requirements with leads.
Key responsibilities
- Work with Portfolio Leads to devise optimum management and execution of strategic plan and priorities aligned to designated portfolios, surfacing common areas of synergy and collaboration amongst the learning portfolios.
- Be a proactive participant in a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative culture across the GCS team, channel partners, and stakeholder group. Be a people champion and adhere to “ways of working” document.
- Deliver all operational requirements as agreed and with the support of the learning and senior portfolio leaders.
- In collaboration with the broader GCS team, channel partners and stakeholder group as required, team members will thoughtfully execute projects with a human design centric approach with a focus on agility, quality and scale (e.g. budget / resource consideration, KPIs, reporting, sustainment).
- Maintain connectivity amongst each team member (leaning on each other’s strengths) and between learning portfolio stakeholder groups to surface common areas of synergy and collaboration. The team members will thoughtfully tap onto channel partners to bring scale and agility to execution, as agreed with portfolio leads.
- Work with the portfolio leads in delivering projects by bringing in your learning expertise into the project execution (Includes but not limited to Learning business partnering, learning needs analysis, experience design, content creation, curation, curriculum design, PMO, and eminence & thought leadership).
- Track learning metrics (e.g., course completions, registrations, courses created, etc.).
- Produce on time, high quality, and client-ready deliverables which are important to the thread.
- Collect and verify information from multiple sources, decompose high –level information into details, and abstract up low-level information to a general understanding.
Requisite core skills
- Experience with learning – support the building of eLearning materials, exposure to learning platforms like Cura, SABA is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies (e.g., CURA, Brainshark, SABA, Articulate 360)
- Possess technical knowledge on authoring tools such as, Adobe Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Camtasia, Brainshark
- Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Supporting business case development for initiatives through data mining and research
- Understanding and translating complex concepts into concise summaries.
- Storyboarding and presentation
- Experience in data management using Salesforce, SharePoint
- Basic understanding in data analytics using MS Excel
- Basic understanding of data visualization
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.
- Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA
- Work experience: 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy
- Location: Hyderabad
- Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
- Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)
- Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
