The Global Consulting Services (GCS) team works globally across practices and borders to support Deloitte’s Consulting business. Within the Global Consulting Services, the Offerings & Assets team advances the Firm's strategy by focusing on key initiatives and collaborating with other GCS pillar teams to expedite strategic projects. They streamline platform operations, create new operating models, and ensure seamless platform integration. Deloitte's asset-enabled offerings are technology-driven solutions designed to address clients' business challenges and unlock future opportunities innovatively.

Overview of the role

The professional will act as a strategic enabler and advisor to Global Consulting Services Leaders, driving executive decision making. They will enable global leaders to make strategic decisions that translates into marketplace impact and growth. The professional will help accelerate execution of our Global Consulting Services strategic agenda by delivering high impact strategic projects, simplifying and streamlining operations (reporting, PMO activities etc.), creating compelling and transparent leadership communications to solve the most complex challenges in exponentially powerful ways.

Work you’ll do

The professional will work with the India colleagues and senior leaders across Global Consulting Services practice. They will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s Consulting Services business, strategic priorities to enable sharing of insights, trends and escalation of issues/variances as appropriate. The professional will analyse quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, and demonstrate solid analytical and writing skills.

As a Consultant, you will play a crucial role in consolidating, analysing, and visualizing data related to tech asset sales, pipeline, and performance. Your insights will empower the tech asset network and GCS leadership to make informed decisions, optimize investments, and drive growth. This role reports to the GCS Asset Business Insights Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Consolidation, Analysis, Reporting & Visualization:

  • Consolidate sales and pipeline data from multiple CRMs across the global Deloitte network
  • Validate data accuracy and completeness, ensuring data integrity for analysis and reporting
  • Analyse sales performance and pipeline data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop insightful reports and presentations to communicate findings to the asset network, GCS Offering Portfolio Leaders, and Asset Leaders
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales effectiveness, pipeline management, tech asset priorities, and investment strategies
  • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to effectively communicate insights and trends
  • Develop a strong understanding of the audience and tailor visualizations to meet their specific needs
  • Leverage data storytelling techniques to engage stakeholders and drive action

Automation & Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to automate data consolidation, analysis, and reporting processes using Python
  • Develop and implement Python scripts to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
  • Continuously seek ways to improve data management and reporting efficiency

Power BI Dashboard Development & Maintenance:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the GCS Asset Program's Power BI dashboard, which connects tech asset portfolio priorities, MF-Global investments, tech asset performance, and pipeline data
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates within the dashboard
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the dashboard's functionality and user experience

Requisite core skills

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines; comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment; flexibility to manage projects across time zones, accustomed to working in teams (incl. virtual teams), and adapt certain approaches to different cultures and working styles
  • Strong presentation and verbal and written communication skills, and experience communicating to, and working with, virtual teams, and senior leadership
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with relevant business leaders to understand and analyse requirements at both Global and geography-specific levels, and being able to generate executive dashboards, updates, and reports
  • Strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives and have a predisposition for creative solutions and innovative ideas
  • Superior organizational skills with high attention to detail, responsiveness, ability to multi-task, and ability to be trusted with confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail and data quality to support sales/pipeline management, action item tracking/management, and other key metrics
  • Ability to integrate and synthesize large sets of data and broad stakeholder perspectives into meaningful insights
  • Strong core consulting skills: analytical, primary & secondary research, presentation, including logical structuring & storyboarding, knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, Tableau, PowerBI, Python

Preferred/Optional skills –

·       High-level of understanding of tech asset business models and tech asset enabled business lifecycle commercial

·       Exhibit familiarity with the Deloitte organization and proven ability to navigate and coordinate across networks, especially across geographies, industries, and/or offerings

Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing

We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.

  • Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA
  • Work experience: 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Python, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Experience working with CRMs and consolidating data from multiple sources
  • Location: Hyderabad
  • Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)
  • Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
