Within the Global Consulting Services, the Offerings & Assets team advances the Firm's strategy by focusing on key initiatives and collaborating with other GCS pillar teams to expedite strategic projects. They streamline platform operations, create new operating models, and ensure seamless platform integration. Deloitte's asset-enabled offerings are technology-driven solutions designed to address clients' business challenges and unlock future opportunities innovatively.
Overview of the role
The professional will act as a strategic enabler and advisor to Global Consulting Services Leaders, driving executive decision making. They will enable global leaders to make strategic decisions that translates into marketplace impact and growth. The professional will help accelerate execution of our Global Consulting Services strategic agenda by delivering high impact strategic projects, simplifying and streamlining operations (reporting, PMO activities etc.), creating compelling and transparent leadership communications to solve the most complex challenges in exponentially powerful ways.
Work you’ll do
The professional will work with the India colleagues and senior leaders across Global Consulting Services practice. They will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s Consulting Services business, strategic priorities to enable sharing of insights, trends and escalation of issues/variances as appropriate. The professional will analyse quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, and demonstrate solid analytical and writing skills. The professional will also be responsible to develop compelling narrative with clear recommendations based on the research, analysis and findings. The team’s projects are typically high-impact and high-visibility aligned to the global firm and Consulting Services leadership’s strategic priorities. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management of the Global Asset Scaling, Commercialization & Pricing Community – e.g., support the agenda development and materials development for the community conference calls ensuring the global network deepens its “Scaling, Commercialization & Pricing expertise” fostering collaboration across the global network on monetizing Deloitte’s innovation
- Support the development and/or globalization of constructs, frameworks and best practices across the global network with the objective to reduce the friction in getting Deloitte’s innovation shaped, commercialized and priced (in)to specific markets – all to capture more market share
- Partner with Deloitte asset teams and go-to-market leaders to support cross-border asset scaling
- Guide Asset Teams in navigating cross-border processes to commercialize prioritized assets, such as asset certification
- Guide GTM leaders and teams through important considerations for priority assets including analysis of Global Priority assets, in-market scoping, competitive landscape including comparative features, functions, pricing, and business models, and analyze how the prospective asset fits into the market
- Build and maintain network of asset SMEs across Global Consulting and Deloitte Firms (i.e., QRM, OGC, technology, finance, etc) to support Global Consulting priority assets scale and globalize
- Provide asset teams with guidance and support to develop appropriate commercial strategies for their asset enabled offerings
- Advise on import/export considerations, interfirm pricing, and asset licensing
- Advise on value proposition, commercial strategy, and pricing efforts for priority assets
Requisite core skills
- Strong core consulting skills – project management, senior stakeholder engagement, verbal and written communication, managing multiple priorities given aggressive timelines, influence outcomes, follow up effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
- Comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment; flexibility to manage projects across time zones, accustomed to working in teams (incl. virtual teams) and adapt certain approaches to different cultures and working styles
Preferred/Optional skills
- Familiarity with Deloitte organization and proven ability to navigate and coordinate across networks, especially across geographies, industries, and/or offerings
- High-level understanding of asset business models, asset enabled business lifecycle, commercial, and pricing strategies for products
- Previous market/client-facing experience and client pursuits/selling is a plus along with Technology literacy
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.
- Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA
- Work experience: 6+ years of relevant experience
- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy
- Location: Hyderabad
- Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)
- Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
