The team – Global Sales
The Global Sales team is an integral part of the Global DTTL platform, tasked with ensuring consistency in sales practices, sharing best practices, and enhancing win rates on a global scale. Collaborating closely with designated Global Sales Leaders from various geographies and business units, the team is committed to executing strategic priorities that are typically high-impact and high-visibility, aligning with the overarching strategic objectives of the firm.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives in both solo and collaborative environments across different project magnitudes. Ideal candidates will possess 8+ years of professional experience with consulting, analytical, and communication abilities.
Work you’ll do
The Global Sales Training Lead will create and execute a sales training program(s) to improve the skills of our client-facing leaders and internal sales teams at across global Deloitte network. This role aims to boost sales effectiveness through structured coaching, training, and development. The perfect candidate will have experience in sales, program management, and leadership, with a proven track record in enhancing global sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Global Sales Training Development and Implementation
· Consult with Senior Leadership, Pursuit Center of Excellence leaders, and Client-facing pursuit teams to understand their training needs.
· Curate training materials from multiple geographies and businesses and develop a comprehensive global training to enable client-facing and Sales Excellence pursuit teams to be better equipped from identifying to closing deals.
· Review and incorporate feedback from Sales Excellence and Pursuit Center of Excellence leaders across the globe and various businesses.
· Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to integrate appropriate training methodologies.
· Coordinate and execute training initiatives across Member Firms, geographies, and businesses with Sales Excellence, Pursuit Center of Excellence, and Learning & Development teams.
Reporting and analytics
· Determine metrics to assess effectiveness of training programs, collect and analyze feedback, and make improvements as necessary for future training courses to enhance participant experience and learning outcomes.
Project and stakeholder management
• Provide regular updates to leadership on training outcomes and recommendations for future initiatives.
• Possesses solid project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly switch between different workstreams – comfortable working in an agile environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in project planning and implementation, while effectively managing multiple stakeholders within a matrix organization.
Core Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience, preferably in supporting sales functions for a global firm
· Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating to audiences at various levels
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often virtual environment, with strong multi-tasking and adaptability to changing priorities
· Excellent analytical thinker with a proven track record in planning and implementing global business programs
· Detail-oriented and organized with strong project management and critical thinking skills.
· Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
