The team
This is an internal firm services position that supports member firms of the Deloitte organization in complying with various regulatory and professional compliance requirements:
· Ensure the quality, integrity, and completeness of data related to clients and related parties in various independence systems of the firm. Support engagement teams in complying with independence policies.
· Reviewing business proposals and relationships for potential conflicts of interest.
· Ensuring that all financial relationships held by Deloitte professionals and other compliance related information are accurately reported and are compliant with the firm’s policies.
- Provide effective and timely risk and quality-related counsel and guidance to the Deloitte Consulting teams that support client engagements by helping identify, mitigate, and manage risk (delivery, regulatory, legal, and reputation) throughout the engagement life cycle.
- Assist in maintaining the Global Delivery Excellence Plan (DEP) platform by collaborating with Partners and leadership to ensure accurate and timely input of data, coordinating with stakeholders to gather necessary information, and ensuring the DEP platform remains up-to-date and aligned with the firm's quality processes.
- Assist in developing reports and presentations for Quality updates to Executive and Board-level committees.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Programs, providing timely follow-ups and escalations.
- Monitor Solution Review Boards, update DEP, and support testing and system improvement efforts.
- Day-to-day administration of Global’ s Quality Programs, ensuring adherence to policies and supporting program enhancements.
· Supporting engagement teams by conducting comprehensive external research on clients and third parties. This includes sanctions screening, adverse media monitoring, and identifying ownership through specialized research tools and publicly available information as part of the "Know Your Client" process.
· Assist engagement teams in proactively facilitating the completion of Client & Engagement Acceptance (CAEA) and Risk Assessment procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Postgraduate/MBA Finance or related field
- Up to three years of total/relevant experience
- Having experience in or exposure to risk and controls assessment within a professional services environment will be advantageous.
Required Skillset:
- Carry out assigned tasks to ensure compliance with the firm’s policies and professional standards in the areas of independence, compliance, and risk.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand broader business risks and issues.
- Effective project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to develop and adopt innovative approaches and solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, prior exposure to international business correspondence a plus.
- Strong ability to analyze problems follow procedures consistently, knowing when to seek guidance and facilitate solutions.
- Ability and interest to participate in special projects as needed.
- Ability to work extra hours/overtime during peak periods.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Work Timings: 2 p.m. – 11 p.m.
