Job Purpose
The purpose of the job is to assist engagement teams in proactively facilitating the completion of Client & Engagement Acceptance (CAEA) and Risk Assessment procedures. The Consulting Acceptance Support Team (CAST) ensures the engagement teams are fully compliant with Deloitte firm policies and necessary approval and documentation are obtained before onboarding a new client or in some instances existing clients.

Work you will do

As an RBP Analyst, you should be able to consistently apply a base of knowledge to matters that arise, identify, and resolve exceptions to policies and professional standards in a timely manner. Your key responsibilities would include:

·       Ensuring the quality and completeness of data related to clients and related parties in various independence systems of the firm.

·       Support engagement teams in complying with independence policies.

·       Communicate both verbally and via Email with various teams and monitor their responses to ensure all necessary approvals are in place for the engagement teams to proceed with the Client Acceptance process.

  • Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM (Finance) with 2-3 years of experience. (60% or 6.5 GPA and above throughout without any running backlogs)
  • Carry out assigned tasks to ensure compliance with the firm’s policies and professional standards in the areas of independence, compliance, and risk
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, prior exposure to international business correspondence a plus
  • Ability to apply Firm policies to various fact patterns
  • Ability to follow work programs with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to follow procedures consistently, knowing when to seek guidance
  • Ability to analyze problems and facilitate solutions
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion
  • Excellent organizational aptitude and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with technology tools such as Microsoft Office – MS Excel, Word, Power Point (knowledge on database tools and analytics applications a plus)
  • Ability and interest to participate in special projects as needed
  • Ability to work extra hours/overtime during peak periods
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

·       Ensure all relevant documentation is saved and where required follow ups are done with the relevant teams.

The team

The RBP group plays a critical role in enhancing, preserving and protecting the reputation of the Deloitte organization. Our group is focused on strategic, confidential and regulatory risk matters which include ensuring Independence of the organization, Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and Managers, apart from conducting a host of compliance monitoring activities for all the professionals in the U.S, India and other member firm offices. The Centre of Excellence comprises various teams operating databases with client and affiliate information, monitoring conflicts of interest, monitoring data privacy, and monitoring investments of organization personnel. The group supports the Deloitte U.S. National Office as well as global Deloitte member firms.


We are in an internal Deloitte U.S. Firms professional service position that supports member firms of the Deloitte organization. Functions within RBP include Independence Operations, Independence Audits, Conflicts, Independence Representations, Discipline, and Ethics & Compliance. The team interacts/coordinates frequently with other members across the member firms’ risk and regulatory affairs groups to effectively serve Deloitte professionals.
