Job Title: Analyst/Senior Analyst - Engagement Financial Advisors - Government and Public Services Enabling Areas (GPS EA)
The Team:
GPS Engagement Financial Advisors in Government & Public Services Enabling Areas, collaborate with members from various departments within our organization. You will learn about unique requirements related to reporting, billing, and financial management when providing professional services to the government.
The Deloitte Encore Program is specifically designed to enable seasoned professionals who have left the workforce for one to three years to return to work. This paid 16-week program offers an opportunity to enhance your skills while providing you a role in a client service environment. A network of Deloitte professionals will provide you with relevant training and will mentor your professional growth while you gain hands-on experience. You may also have the opportunity to join the team upon successful completion of the program.
Work you’ll do
As an Analyst/Senior Analyst within our team you will:
• Project startup and setup
• Project cost monitoring (labor, subcontract, Other Direct costs (ODCs), material)
• Annual planning and forecasting
• Quarterly/monthly program forecasts
• Estimate At Completion (EAC)/Program estimates
• Contract closeout
• Journal entry preparation
• Accrual preparation
• Revenue recognition
Qualification & Skills
Required / Preferred:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another similar technical discipline
• A career gap of 6 months to 4 years
• 0-7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and analysis preferably in a global organization
• Understand financial and operational metrics / KPIs such as Revenue, profit, accounts receivable etc.
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player who works effectively in a cross-functional environment
• Proficiency in MS Office (including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a dynamic work environment
• Detail-oriented with ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational and interpersonal skill
• Strong academic track record (preferred minimum 6 to 7 GPA)
• Ability to work with stakeholders across different time zones and provide financial advisory support
• Support AR activities such as timely invoicing, monitoring billings/collections and collaborate with GPS AR Team on outstanding AR action items
Work Location: Hyderabad
Timings : 2 PM – 11PM
