Office security – The Security Review team is at the forefront of managing the intricate and often complex nature of background checks during new hires and in meeting client requirements. Ensuring the integrity of our hiring process is crucial for maintaining our company's reputation and compliance standards. Whenever there is a background check requirement for individuals working on Deloitte’s client projects or any discrepancies are identified during the background checks, our team steps in to resolve these issues. This process involves connecting with multiple stakeholders and professionals, conducting extensive research to verify the authenticity of the discrepancies, and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
We are seeking professionals with diverse knowledge of the Background Investigation process and compliance experience to effectively handle this critical function. Your expertise in these areas will be invaluable in ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of integrity and compliance in our operations. Additionally, we aim to continuously improve our processes and adapt to any changes in the regulatory landscape, and having skilled professionals on our team will greatly contribute to these goals. These efforts are essential in safeguarding our operations from potential risks and ensuring adherence to both internal policies and external regulations.
· Monitor assigned background investigation (BI) request to 3rd party vendor, First Advantage.
· Reviews and analyzes on-going and completed BI cases for compliance. Sends BI case summaries to Talent Relations for potential BI case concerns and follow-on actions. Applies problem-solving techniques to ensure accurate and timely BI cases are accomplished.
· Review client related contractor screening documents and order correct background check searches for Deloitte employees.
· Maintain lists of confirmed checks for Deloitte employees, and provide to client engagement teams.
· The analyst will work with Talent Relations, Recruiting and various Lead Client Service Partners across the Firm on a daily basis to complete background investigations.
· Will interact with the vendor to complete the background investigations.
· Will work with recruiters and Client engagement teams to gather information needed and analyze forecasts, with the vendor for timeliness and accuracy and internal groups for information and assistance to complete the background investigations.
· Should possess the ability to collate information, assess trends and accordingly represent performance charts for leadership review.
· Will handle late billing from the vendor
Qualifications:
Required:
· A BCom/BSc degree or equivalent related experience is required.
· At least 1 year of relevant work experience in background investigations.
· Preferred 1 year of experience working with the First Advantage portal and tools.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion.
· Excellent written/verbal/ communication, listening and facilitation skills.
· Strong time management/organizational skills including appropriate sense of urgency and proactive approach.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.

Shift Timings: 11 AM- 8 PM
