Event Coordinator | Event Enablement Team
An Event Coordinator provides client services by assisting requestors with their video enabled and Zoom events, ensures smooth user experience from scheduling to completion of virtual and hybrid events.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling, managing, and approving video-enabled event requests on a timely basis.
- Scheduling, managing, and hosting large-scale Zoom events.
- Offering phone, email, and instant message scheduling related support.
- Communicating with Deloitte professionals and external clients at different levels of hierarchy.
- Working closely with other teams/offices to ensure best possible outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Gathering feedback and providing innovative insights.
- Escalating urgent situations appropriately to team leads.
- Performing other tasks and special projects as required/assigned by team leads.
- Act as an advisor to customers by taking a holistic approach to the overall event scheduling and coordination process.
- Providing consultative support and subject matter expertise to event requestors throughout the request and scheduling process.
- Fostering relationships with customers to ensure effective collaboration, communication, and delivery of event requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of two years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and calendar management.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of operations and meeting planning.
- Highly developed customer service skills.
- A passion for building and growing relationships.
- Ability to effectively multitask.
- Quick at learning and using business applications.
- Manage high volume of work at fast pace.
- Handle confrontation and challenge with ease.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively on a virtual team.
- Take initiative and demonstrate follow through.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and logical thinking.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and always remain proactive.
Location: Hyderabad
Workdays: Monday to Friday

The Event Enablement Team is part of Office Experience group which consists of event coordinators and schedulers. We operate out of multiple locations across US and Hyderabad, India. Each of us works together to exceed our customers’ expectations by providing timely and high-quality solutions for business requests and projects.
