Job Description: MES Registration Specialist (Analyst)

Meeting & Event Services (MES) - Registration Team overview

We are a team of professionals providing strategic end-to-end solutions for meeting and event needs within Deloitte. We collaborate with meeting planners to provide registration support for Learning, Non-learning, Client and Global meetings held both at Deloitte University (DU) and outside of DU. The team creates registration websites and coordinates the attendee enrolment information and hotel reservations through an online registration system. We are also responsible for reporting and post-meeting reconciliation with a focus on quality and accuracy. The India team works closely with the US team and Deloitte University (DU) team and provides significant support in building and managing registration sites that are delivered at a national, regional, and global level. As one of the firm’s shared services units, MES strives for optimal customer service and process excellence.

Work you’ll do (CL3 – Analyst):

·       Manages the development, creation, and maintenance of registration sites.

·       Collaborates with meeting planners and internal clients to understand the meeting objectives and related registration requirements to effectively build registration sites with appropriate logic and questions. Responsible for analyzing the meeting details provided by the internal client to determine how the registration site should be built.

·       Delivers exceptional client service with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.

·       Provides insight and recommendations on the development and design of registration sites to meeting planners and internal clients.

·       Interacts with internal clients at all levels.

·       Collaborates with planning team in handling housing & special requests.

·       Required to extract the information from the registration system and then format the reports appropriately.

·       Responsible for creating customized reports as per the meeting requirements.

·       Responsible for handling financial chargebacks for no-shows, and cancellations.

·       Understand participant inquiries and exercise judgment in creating polite responses in a timely fashion.

·       Gain expertise with the registration applications and be able to use to troubleshoot participant inquiries.

·       Resolves issues for invitees and addresses complex issues and questions related to the registration site. (Customer service – housing, program, or technical questions).

·       Strict adherence to the registration process and brand standards.

·       Ability to work independently and successfully manage workload for multiple meetings in various stages simultaneously.

Key skills, capabilities and competencies

·       Any graduate with 2-3 years of related experience, preferably around meeting registration support, events & campaigns, hospitality industry, knowledge management.

·       This position requires excellent judgment, responsiveness, and timely registration management.

·       Understand the different scenarios and handle special requests and respond to meeting attendees, adherence to timelines, housing deadlines, and reports.

·       Should have strong attention to detail, be independent, multitasking, highly organized, enthusiastic, process, and client oriented.

·       Collaborate and work with multiple teams (preferably US clients) and understand the business culture.

·       Excellent verbal and email communication skills in the English language to be able to comprehend and formulate responses to professionals at various levels within the firm.

·       Dedicated, acute awareness & ability to manage deadlines and people.

·       Highly professional, process-centric approach in completing assignments.

·       Technical savviness around desktop applications such as MS Office and Internet browsers including an ability to learn new technologies.
