Job Description: Analyst -Reporting- Learning Operations Team

Job Title:-Analyst - Reporting- Learning Insights Division

Role Overview: The Data Analyst in the Learning Insights division of the Learning Operations team will contribute to analyzing training outcomes, enhancing educational tools, and optimizing processes at Deloitte. This role demands proficiency with data visualization and data manipulation tools to effectively measure, report, and support the improvement of Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives.

Work you’ll do

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis of L&D data to gauge the effectiveness of training programs and pinpoint improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain interactive visual reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, highlighting key metrics such as training participation, completion rates, and feedback scores.
  • Data Handling: Employ advanced Excel skills, including macros and Power Query, for data preparation, analysis, and automation of L&D reporting tasks.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work alongside Growth and Development (G&D) managers to ensure data analytics align with strategic training goals and objectives, supporting the development and refinement of training programs.
  • Feedback Collection: Design and implement mechanisms for gathering feedback on training effectiveness, contributing to the continuous enhancement of learning materials.
  • Data Management Practices: Regularly review and improve existing data management practices within the L&D team to ensure optimal data quality and utility.

Competencies:

  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within a learning and development setting or related educational data analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability to interpret and analyze educational data, providing actionable insights.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, MySQL, and advanced Microsoft Excel (including Macros and Power Query).
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Relationships:

  • Reporting Line: Reports to the Assistant Manager of the Learning Insights Team.
  • Team Collaboration: Engages with L&D program managers and instructional designers to facilitate data-driven decision-making in training design and delivery.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborates with various stakeholders across the organization to enhance data collection and analysis processes.

Hiring Criteria:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Educational Technology, or related fields.
  • Experience Requirement: At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within an L&D environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in using data visualization tools and advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Professional Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and effective project management skills.
