Deloitte Leadership and Human Potential (DLHP): DLHP addresses skills development to enable business performance and the growth of our professionals’ human potential. DLHP aims to serve leaders at all levels via three areas of leadership skills development: Foundational Leadership, Marketplace Leadership and Human Potential. Work you will do.
Act as a learning and talent development manager on effective and leading-edge learning and development designs that align with learning and talent development strategy to achieve desired outcomes.
For this role, you will be accountable for partnering to drive the DLHP C&B, Purpose and RRWB learning portfolio.
Responsibilities may include:
- Co-create a robust portfolio of curricula that brings the talent development vision (Education, Experience and Exposure), and the National teams’ and firm strategies to life in the areas of C&B, Purpose and RRWB.
- Own, optimize, and manage the learning portfolio’s operations in partnership with the USI SM, including demand analysis, budgeting, faculty strategy, delivery management, communications, evaluation, reporting, content evolution, and vendor relationships.
- Co-create the annual development plan to execute the curriculum strategy and bring value to the firm.
- Actively manage the annual budget and forecast with period-by-period accuracy.
- Evolve and expand the learning curriculum, leveraging best practices and future-focused innovations to:
- Buy, build, and/or redesign solutions as needed.
- Recommend appropriate delivery mechanisms (e.g., classroom, on demand, virtual classroom, blended learning).
- Oversee the analysis of learner feedback and other data to promote continuous improvement of learning solutions, consistently moving it to the next level.
- Execute with strong project management skills, including monitoring work-plans and managing against milestones.
- Lead with excellence and a foster high-performing team environment; develop people through mentoring.
- Contribute to additional Talent and Firm initiatives aligned with individual strengths and goals as opportunities present.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and matrixed virtual environment
- Strong strategic and critical thinking to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes; clear understanding of how moving pieces come together to build the big picture
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles/previous instructional design experience
- Experience working in a learning and development organization
- Prior consulting or professional services experience, preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 12 years of related professional experience
- Established track record for taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering innovative learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs
- Significant program management experience in successfully planning, managing, and delivering multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelines
- Demonstrate inclusive leadership and teaming behaviors that speak to diversity and equity across the Firm
- Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce deliverables that carry a “stamp of excellence.”
- In Excel, aggregate data, complete complex analysis, and display results visually
- In PowerPoint, translate data into insights and tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience; make clear and easily actionable asks
- In Word, create clear, concise, professional written communications with a user-friendly layout that’s conducive to cognition
- In Teams, effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiency and version control
