The team
CMG – OMDM - PEI CoE
The PEI CoE team enables Deloitte to deliver the power of our MDM across complex private equity client portfolios by managing all aspects of independence and conflicts matters to ensure regulatory compliance for select private equity accounts of the Deloitte US Firms.
Work you’ll do
As a Manager in the OMDM - PEI CoE team, you will lead a large team in our India office (USI) in the CoE’s efforts to manage independence and conflicts through our established processes and procedures for private equity clients under the CoE’s scope. The manager will also be responsible for overall USI quality control, team management and to drive enhancements in team member’s work product by delivering the appropriate level of project management, coaching and feedback.
Key job responsibilities include:
· Provide project management to ensure appropriate distribution of workload among team members.
· Seek to improve existing standard procedures/tools with the goal of increasing efficiency of processes handled by the team, including opportunities to automate with technology.
· Work closely with PEI CoE senior manager and manager group to ensure proper coordination between US and USI teams.
· Manage the performance of team members through regular check-ins, providing timely feedback.
Preferred:
· Postgraduate/MBA Finance or related field/ Chartered Financial Analyst
· 10-13 years of total/relevant experience
· Strong awareness of regulatory policies pertaining to the securities markets. Awareness of the PCAOB/ experience in independence-related matters in a professional services firm will be a huge plus
· Demonstrated team leadership competencies/experience; Familiarity with various research tools (Pitchbook, Cap IQ, D&B, Hoovers)
· Excellent attention to detail, analytical, data interpretation and research skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to confidently communicate with Deloitte leadership and other members
