End User Technology Services (EUTS) Assistant Manager, Workstation Engineer

This Assistant Manager will lead and participate in the architecture and engineering efforts for end-user platform solutions for the Deloitte US firms. They will ensure the delivery of these solutions with minimal impact on end-users and further supporting our goal of technology eminence.

In this role, you will:

·       Deliver an optimized productivity platform and exceptional digital experience.

·       Be responsible for delivering a highly optimized, stable and productive workstation experience.

·       Understand the business environment, customer needs and anticipate future technological demands.

·       You will also manage vendor relationships to troubleshoot issues and provide support and service to end users.

·       Protect the desktop environment by evaluating and determining how to react to security alerts, vulnerabilities, and industry risks.

·       Leverage advanced workstation analytics, develop proactive solutions, and ensure comprehensive compliance using multiple enablement systems and tools.

·       Enforce service levels and service offerings for end-user computing, including technology platforms, distribution, and deployment. You will approve and enforce processes and procedures for end user software technology platforms, distribution, and deployment.

·       Provide Endpoint solutions to meet client/business requirements, coordinate testing, and production deployment of solutions.

Required Skills

Intune Administration

  • As an Intune SME, you are responsible for end-to-end management and troubleshooting of Windows devices including but not limited to OS, Application, Configuration, Compliance management.
  • Perform complex resolution activities to diagnose issues (related to application deployment, configuration issue, etc.) and perform Quality Assurance focusing on end user experience.
  • Work with various teams to complete solution as per the requirement/request from business.
  • Migration Experience of Windows 10 device from On-Prem AD+SCCM managed environment to Azure AD+Intune (standalone) managed environment is must.
  • Expertise in PowerShell Scripting and Proficiency in other scripting languages (e.g., VBS, Batch Scripts, etc.) will be additional advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge to create and configure MDM policies.
  • Create and Deploy applications (LOB/Win32/Store Apps/etc.) using Intune i.e., managing application lifecycle.
  • Managing Software Updates and Feature Updates for Windows operating environment.
  • Managing OS Upgrades for Windows devices.
  • Knowledge on creating packages using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT).
  • Expert-level Windows build architecture and deployment experience, including customization of a Windows build
  • Knowledge of Cloud Identity (Azure Active Directory, AAD Sync, Role-based access control)
  • "Windows Autopilot” deployment experience using Azure/Intune.
  • Mapping of Active Directory GPO controls and settings to Intune MDM Policies
  • Active Directory concepts such as Kerberos, LDAP, Certificates and Security Groups
  • Working knowledge of Secure Token Services (ADFS or similar)
  • Experience in configuring and managing Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, Defender policies, Firewall rules etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform, most particularly with Intune and multiple Windows Autopilot profiles.
  • Good understanding on Device and User based Certificates (SCEP and NDES).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science with 5 years of experience in a technical IT role with 3+ years of relevant experience
