Analyst - VBA Developer, Global Tax & Legal Strategic Priorities Support Hub

Work you’ll do

Develop tools using MS Office VBA, VSTO (Visual Studio tools for Office), standardize and be innovative. A unique opportunity to be a part of growing Global Tools delivery Center team that drives consistency, quality, and efficiency of the services delivered to tax & legal clients. You will be responsible for delivering key solutions to support Deloitte Member Firms.

Support tool development, maintenance and & optimization activities

  • Develop, deploy and maintain tools on
    • VSTO Add-Ins for MS office applications as per requirements using VBA, VB.Net, and VSTO
    • VSTO Templates, Workbooks and Documents for Excel and Word to extend their capabilities
  • Maintain and upgrade existing Add-ins, Tools and Templates using VBA, VB.Net and VSTO
  • Code using complex VBA Macros and support business functionality
  • Load & test tools and deliver best in class deliverables
  • Development and maintain MS Office VBA based applications that will help manage and support Service Line processes.

Ensure compliance with and maintain tool development guidelines

  • Apply Deloitte standards (e.g., copyright, Legal language) and guidelines (e.g., style guide) to tool development projects
  • Ensure all projects go through the tool development life cycle phases
  • Develop and maintain internal documentation to facilitate compliance as required

The Team - Global Tax & Legal Strategic Priorities Support Hub (GTL SPSH)

The Global Tax & Legal Strategic Priorities Support Hub team supports the various strategic priorities of Global Tax & Legal business. The team has diverse skillset to ensure that the priority initiatives are seamlessly executed. We provide PMO supports, reporting and analytics support, business research support, as well as marketing and communications support to the leaders, which enables the success of these priorities. Our involvement helps Global Tax and Legal leaders grow the Deloitte footprint across geographies with their clients.

Education and Qualification required:

·       Bachelors/ Master - MCA, Engineering, BSC Comp preferred

·       Experience: 1-2 years

Must have:

·       Strong MS Office, VBA skills. Ability to write complex macros and build VB forms, MS Visio, SDLC, Quality, Testing

·       Strong knowledge on VB.NET, .NET Design Fundamentals and .NET framework

·       Experience in building macros and automation in MS Office applications using VSTO add-ins

·       Proficient in OOPs, data structures and algorithms

·       Experience in an application development environment using Win-forms and VB .NET

Good to have:

·       Knowledge of Python is a plus

·       Knowledge of SharePoint concepts is a plus

Location: Hyderabad

Shift timings: 2PM to 11PM
