Senior Analyst - Compliance & QM, Global Audit & Assurance Learning-Infrastructure Team
Work you’ll do
Audit and Assurance is a regulated business, and as a result there are significant compliance responsibilities related to learning both at a global and a member firm level, including Deloitte’s mandatory learning policies, and the ongoing implementation of the new quality management standard ISQM1. As a result, Global A&A Learning (GAAL) are looking to develop and increased quality management team, of which this role will be a part. The position is a permanent role.
The Team - GAAL
The Global Audit & Assurance Learning (GAAL) team has responsibility for design, development, deployment, and monitoring and measurement of learning and development solutions to the Audit & Assurance service line throughout the network of DTTL member firms, that member firms, in turn, need to deploy. Team members are based in various offices throughout the Deloitte network, with both permanent team members, and an extended team of individuals from member firms working on projects at any time.
GAAL Infrastructure Team: GAAL Infrastructure team enables Global A&A Learning Team to develop, deliver and evaluate learning programs to audit practitioners. Our team contributes to initiatives that drive enhanced client experiences, streamlined processes, and high-quality project deliverables by supporting GAAL’s strategic priorities. We operate in 5 key areas – Data Analytics & Reporting, Content Development, PMO, Resource Management, Operations Management.
Education and experience required:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. MBA preferred.
· 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Must have:
Technical Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom form design and functionality.
- Strong ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data with impeccable attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with team members and management.
- Ability to manage competing high-priority demands, prioritize workload, handle multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines, and work independently in an agile virtual environment while maintaining accountability and delivering high-quality output.
Soft Skills
- Demonstrating active interest in, and comfortable with technology and systems and the desire to increase this skill set through experiential learning
- A ‘consulting mindset’ and ‘customer service’ orientation coupled with the ability to work under tight time constraints
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (including reading, writing, comprehension, and verbal communication) with an ability to clearly articulate ideas and present concepts convincingly
- Able to manage multiple tasks and projects and to prioritize effectively and work under stringent deadlines
- Able to work independently and remotely from line management, operating proactively with limited day to day supervision
- Flexibility – prepared to adapt working schedule to accommodate virtual team’s needs and willing to work overtime as needs dictate
- Good social skills and ability to build rapport with internal clients at all levels, and of different cultures
