We are looking for a talented and experienced Radio Presenter cum Podcaster to join our Internal Communications team. In this role, you will conceptualize and create creative employee engagement content, audio scripts, and impactful presentations for internal audiences and broadcast them on our internal podcasting channel or other relevant media. The job entails collaborating with various stakeholders and vendors and overseeing project timelines to ensure the timely and effective execution of internal communication projects. The ultimate goal is to deliver successful outcomes for these projects.
Work You’ll Do
As a senior analyst supporting creative content writing and editing, you will bring your unique perspectives to create multiple engaging communications and campaigns. You will work closely with a team that loves to ideate, innovate, be creative, and focus on impact for communication solutions across the organization. As an enabler who enhances communication efforts, your work will include working with internal clients and stakeholders. You should have a strong passion for storytelling and writing, a knack for engaging audiences across media, and the ability to effectively communicate important information in a creative and compelling manner. You should also have a strong creative flair, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. You will be expected to use your project management skills to coordinate with stakeholders and vendors, manage project timelines, and ensure the successful delivery of internal communication projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate across various stakeholder groups and with internal communication team members to create engaging, informative, and impactful content for our internal communication channels, including internal radio, emails, newsletters, videos, and social media platforms.
- Develop audio scripts and presentations that effectively communicate key messages to employees, using a range of styles and formats.
- Record and assist in the production of the podcasts/episodes, and work with the internal production team/external vendor to ensure that they are of high quality and are delivered on time.
- Research and stay up to date with industry trends and internal news to develop compelling and informative content.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Deloitte’s business and build messaging to positively position the firm both internally and in the marketplace, wherever required.
- Assist with the planning and execution of internal events and campaigns from end to end.
- Host and present radio broadcasts, engaging and entertaining listeners while communicating important information and messages.
- Work closely with graphic designers, audio and video producers, and other communication specialists to develop multimedia materials that support internal communication efforts.
- Manage projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver impactful content and communication campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in storytelling, radio broadcasting, and internal communications.
- Bring out-of-the-box thinking and creativity to projects and briefs.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and projects effectively to deliver on timelines.
- Should have a natural flair to strike up conversations with people from across levels, from top leadership to someone fresh in the industry.
- Should be able to structure the podcast even on technical topics by researching and going through internal documents.
- Should be able to look beyond the worked and finalized scripts during a live recording if there’s a need.
- Should be able to detach and fit themselves in the audience's shoes to do justice to the podcast.
Key Requirements and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Master’s/bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an internal communications team.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling content for a range of audiences and media.
- Strong radio presenting skills, with the ability to engage and entertain listeners while delivering key messages.
- Experience in radio broadcasting and production.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring deliverables have zero/minimum errors and are consistent with the Deloitte style guide.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Must have a focused and agile approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of internal communications best practices and trends.
- Familiarity with audio editing software, such as Audacity or Adobe Audition would be an added advantage.
