Senior Analyst – Social Eminence Program for Government & Public Services (GPS)

We are looking to hire a social media professional to join our team. The desired person will be responsible for creating long and short form LinkedIn posts for multiple executives, analyzing the performance of social media content for clients including LinkedIn to inform them about how well their social media efforts are performing.

Work you’ll do:

Bring your unique perspectives to help a team that loves to ideate, be creative in curation and content development, and focus on analyzing social media data, write reports, and discuss findings with clients. The key performance objective is to work with internal clients to assist with social media content creation, report, analyze, and provide data-driven insights to achieve their goals. 

  • Collaborate to create a fitting social media persona for your clients, develop content strategies, and craft creative posts in line with that persona to maximize engagement and traction
  • Assist with content curation and creation for social media, including blog posts, infographics, images, and videos
  • Optimize content to further encourage interaction and engagement internally
  • Monitor social media platforms for client trends, news, and conversations
  • Analyze social media data to identify opportunities and make recommendations on how to improve social media strategy along with goals, objectives, and timelines
  • Generate reports on social media metrics, including web traffic, and engagement
  • Keep abreast of changes in social media platforms, algorithm updates, latest industry trends, and best practices, and make recommendations on how to take advantage of new features
  • Monitor competitor activity on social media and make recommendations on how to stay ahead of the competition
  • Analyze data collected from surveys or polls to identify trends in public opinion on specific topics
  • Collaborate with other members to ensure a cohesive social media strategy
  • Experience with social media management tools, like Sprinklr, Keyhole, Brand watch, Sprout Social, Brand 24, Hootsuite etc. will be a value-add
  • Excellent communications and copywriting skills
  • Excellent client service skills and project management
  • A critical thinker, team player, and demonstrates problem-solving skills
  • Bring in out-of-the-box thinking and creativity to projects
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to clearly define requirements and deliver expected results
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s legal and brand standards for deliverables as appropriate

The Team

The Government and Public Services (GPS) team provides solutions in support of market positioning and acquisition activities to maximize Deloitte’s revenue, relationships, and reputation in the Government marketplace. Strategic Marketing Planners (SMPs) are key marketing professionals in the Marketing and Communications team at Deloitte who convert business needs into powerful marketing strategies and impactful campaigns. The India team provides efficient, flexible, quality support to SMPs through innovative solutions that facilitate strategic decision-making and works in collaboration with the US stakeholders in campaigns/activations, and competitive intelligence support. Also, the team works closely with the US GPS channels under Client and Sales Excellence including Marketing and Communications, Information Management, Account Management, Competitive & Market Intelligence, Pursuits, and Strategy.

Key requirements and skills:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, journalism, or relevant field 
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in social media, communications, or marketing
  • Ability to develop and execute successful social media campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with experience in content curation, content development, and using effective storytelling techniques.
  • Good analytical skills to generate key insights to inform strategy and way forward.
  • Leadership qualities to lead, articulate ideas, and motivate a team.
  • Solid secondary research skills, reviewing skills and attention to detail. Tracking quality metrics to help key stakeholders to make effective decisions from the metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, and verbal required.
  • Very good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially MS Excel (advanced), MS Word and MS PowerPoint

  • Work Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru
  • Work Timings: 2pm to 11pm
