Senior Analyst - Government & Public Services (GPS) – Sector & SGO Marketing Specialist

Looking for a marketing professional with good understanding of professional firms marketing services. Someone who can work closely with the US Strategic Marketing Planners (SMPs) to contribute to a portfolio of marketing programs by leveraging strong market research, data analysis, developing, leadership reports, improve processes to enhance the firm’s brand value and propagate its services.

An individual who thinks creatively and develops insightful documents, presentations, and marketing initiatives within the brand guidelines. A team player who can jointly work with both US & USI stakeholders by leading from the front by driving projects, has an innovative & analytical thought process, can assist and guide the SMPs on best practices in secondary research capabilities, reporting data, and highly efficient in MS-Office.

This individual will work within the Marketing and Communications channel for the Government & Public Services (GPS) team and in collaboration with U.S. stakeholders. The ideal candidate serves as trusted marketing advisor to their business leaders and key stakeholders. This individual should demonstrate experience in independently managing multiple, concurrent projects while working collaboratively across a virtual team.

Required skills and professional experience:

·  3 - 5 years of work experience, in running/managing marketing activations/campaigns including analyzing and measuring key performance indicators for marketing campaigns and secondary research and deriving insights from data.

·   Sound understanding of marketing concepts with strong analytical thinking skills.

·  Proficiency and working knowledge of MS office.

·  Develop marketing collaterals, presentations, and other promotional material.

·  Ability to present data analysis in intuitive graphical and tabular formats. Develop and maintain formatting of the documents as per the Brand.

·  Operational Management: Prepares error-free deliverables in agreed-upon timelines and in line with client/Team Leader (TL) expectations.

·  Professional Effectiveness: Demonstrates teamwork while working in the team on marketing projects and initiatives. Invests effort to work on areas of improvement identified.

·  Client stakeholder management: Manages expectation and timeline with TL on projects, updates project leads throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze expectations of the stakeholders and develop highly creative, customized, high-quality deliverables adhering to the Deloitte Brand Identity guidelines.

·  Good experience in developing Excel based analysis using intermediate features.

·  Strong in interpreting data and building a storyboard which adds to the messaging theme of GPS marketing campaigns.

·  Attention to detail and adherence to quality guidelines, standards, and best practices.

·  Ability to understand emerging trends, its impact on the market, and gathering insights from research.

·   Excellent team player with experience working and driving conversations with virtual teams, including proven ability to collaborate with a U.S. based team.

·   Knowledge of the U.S. Government marketplace, sectors, and policy areas such as government spending, health care, education, will be an advantage.

·   Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

·   Ability/readiness to train and mentor junior team members and helping the TL with overall team management.


Work you’ll do

As a Senior Analyst in the GPS marketing team, you will provide support to GPS campaigns, activations, marketing communication for US & USI leadership, develop marketing collaterals, and competitive analysis, synthesize research findings in a structured format, and be able to independently identify and communicate outliers and trends. The role requires a high degree of creativity, proficiency, and an ability to convert technical marketing ideas into compelling marketing ideas. You should demonstrate strong business writing and presentation skills, be collaborative, and have a proven ability to manage competing demands simultaneously.

Key job responsibilities include:

·  Good understanding of marketing roles in a professional services firm - marketing communications, campaigns, operations, and reporting

·  Collaborate with U.S. based stakeholders and USI teams and ability to design creative and visual reports for GPS marketing leadership

·  Able to provide thoughts to the marketing initiatives, measure, and report marketing campaigns.

·  Intermediate skills in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel - ability to integrate various technologies to support marketing efforts.

·  Ability to scope, analyze, and present data in intuitive graphical formats and interesting frameworks.

·  Ability to make connections in highly matrixed environment, with eye on creativity, integration, and collaboration.

·  Think differently and drive conversations in providing best suitable reporting formats with Strategic Marketing Planners (SMPs) and other stakeholders.

·  Basic understanding of the data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing the data in a visually appealing format that can be easily read by either human or machine.

·  Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

·  Work on projects related to competitive and market intelligence, competitor profiles, reporting data, marketing newsletters.

·  Breakdown of different professional services firm competitors data and provide insights & analysis; identify trends and helps in messaging competitive intelligence data, articulating into storyboarding.

·  Understand and quickly adapt to the changing requirements.

·  Aggregate relevant data in MS-PowerPoint/MS-Excel.

·  Excellent verbal and written communications skills

The Team

The Government and Public Services (GPS) team provides solutions in support of market positioning and acquisition activities to maximize Deloitte’s revenue, relationships, and reputation in the Government marketplace. Strategic Marketing Planners (SMPs) are key marketing professionals in the Marketing and Communications team at Deloitte who convert business needs into powerful marketing strategies and impactful campaigns. The India team provides efficient, flexible, quality support to SMPs through innovative solutions that facilitate strategic decision making and works in collaboration with the US stakeholders in campaigns/activations, competitive intelligence support. Also, the team works closely with the US GPS channels under Client and Sales Excellence including Marketing and Communications, Information Management, Account Management, Competitive & Market Intelligence, Pursuits, and Strategy.

·        MBA or Any Other Postgraduate Degree
