Assistant Manager – Brand Research & Insights - Government & Public Services (GPS) Marketing
Description
Looking for a market intelligence professional, with knowledge of primary and secondary marketing research methodologies and tools and demonstrated experience in competitive and landscape analyses. An individual who can act as an information liaison for marketing leaders by thoroughly investigating the business landscape and developing meaningful, insights that enable leaders to stay abreast of emerging trends and devise research-driven B2B marketing campaigns.
Key skills and professional experience
· Overall, 6+ years’ experience with at least 5 years of relevant quantitative/qualitative market research experience
· Use quantitative and qualitative research to analyze business competitors and make business-driven decisions regarding B2B market positioning
· Facilitate quantitative and qualitative research to surface insights and inform marketing strategies and campaigns
· Build relationships, share new ideas, and work with teams. Someone who has a flair for marketing research is open to learning, and can quickly adapt to changing business requirements
· Exhibit ability to analyze, organize, and present information in a structured manner with clear observations and actionable recommendations
· Strong client and project management skills with proven experience in providing advice to senior executives
· Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of research processes, tools, templates, and the team
· Have responsibility across multiple, concurrent projects. Adjust to shifting priorities, and stringent deadlines, to prioritize and accomplish tasks
Market intelligence, research, analysis, and insights
· Sound knowledge of professional services marketing, digital platforms, and secondary research skills
· Exposure to specific marketing and media monitoring tools such as Sprinklr, SemRush, BrightEdge, and QUID
· Strong reviewing skills and attention to detail. Derive strategic insights and help the management to make effective decisions
· Good understanding of social media platforms – Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.
· Provide key management reports and analyses to support practice development strategy and management decisions
· Work on projects related to competitive and market intelligence, persona research, share of voice reports, social profile audits, etc.
Must have skills and experience:
· Experience and ability to work with US-based marketing and business professionals
· Ability to understand the big picture and deliver as per the expectations with limited guidance
· Advanced knowledge of MS Office platforms, especially Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
· Excellent team player with experience working in virtual teams
The team
The Government and Public Services (GPS) team provides solutions to support market positioning and acquisition activities, maximizing Deloitte’s revenue, relationships, and reputation in the Government marketplace. The USI Market Intelligence team supports Strategic Marketers in developing and implementing business-wide marketing strategies. The team provides a wide range of services, which help the Marketers and Partners, Principals, and Directors (PPDs) expand client relationships and build Deloitte’s presence and reputation in the market. It develops research-based insights through company and executive profiles, persona research, share of voice, research material, competitive intelligence, and marketing brochures to equip leadership teams drive strategic initiatives and win business for the firm.
Qualifications and Experience
· 6+ years of professional experience in market research, competitive and market intelligence
· Any Graduate Degree and MBA (full-time with marketing specialization preferred)

Location: Hyderabad
Timings: 2 PM - 11 PM
